Life sure does suck for Mitomi Masayuki right now. After getting suspended from Union for 60 days for misbehaving on Twitter, he was reduced to wrestling for a micro indie show. Unfortunately during the match he suffered a cervical sprain and thoracic contusion. There is no timeframe for his recovery but it is certain he will be gone from Union for longer than the 60 day suspension.

Danshoku Dino is out of action with a herniated disc and is not scheduled to come back until 2015. Unfortunately that means Dino won’t be able to team with Big Japan’s Daisuke Sekimoto in the New Year’s Eve tag tournament. Antonio Honda was chosen to take Dino’s place in the team.

First and second round matches have a 10 minute time limit, the semi-finals have a 15 minute time limit and the final has no time limit. Overtime uses one count pinfall rules. The semi-final pairings will be decided with a lottery.
