This was in regards to a tweet Cody Hall sent to Chris Dickinson making a Coronavirus and “Yellow Fever” joke that did not go down well with anyone. As mentioned above, Hall had apologised both to DDT and publicly on his Twitter account.

One last thing, if your reaction to this is to blame “Cancel Culture” or “Social Justice Warriors” then fuck off.

3. Danshoku Dieno & Makoto Oishi defeated Toru Owashi & Naomi Yoshimura when Dieno pinned Yoshimura with a Reverse Jumping Press (14:14).
*Danshoku Dieno wins Naomi Yoshimura’s Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Gauntlet.
4. Tetsuya Endo, Mad Paulie & Nobuhiro Shimatani defeated Akito, Mizuki Watase & Yukio Naya when Paulie pinned Akito with the Reverse Splash (11:00).
*Mad Paulie wins Akito’s Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Gauntlet.
5. Cody Hall defeated Yuki Ueno with the Razor’s Edge (9:30).
6. Charisma Vs Gongitsune!: Daisuke Sasaki defeated Antonio Honda with the Cross Facelock (12:22).
7. Harashimao Vs ALL OUT!: HARASHIMA & MAO defeated Konosuke Takeshita & Yuki Iino when MAO pinned Iino with the Cannonball 450 (14:42).

HARASHIMA & MAO made a good team together in the main event. HARASHIMA took out Konosuke Takeshita with the Somato and MAO picked up the win by hitting the Cannonball 450 on Yuki Iino. After the match HARASHIMA gave MAO some advice for his KO-D Openweight Title match later this month. HARASHIMA told him Masato Tanaka is… incredibly strong! MAO thanked HARASHIMA for giving him this vital piece of information. With this knowledge, he can definitely beat Tanaka now!

HARASHIMA & MAO were then interrupted by Shinya Aoki. He brought out his Right To Challenge Gauntlet and told HARASHIMA he wants to cash it in for a DDT Extreme Title match. Hisaya Imabayashi stopped him to explain that the Gauntlets are only meant to be used for the KO-D Title and the Saitama Super Arena Sword. However Imabayashi is willing to grant Aoki an Extreme Title shot due to his existing track record in DDT. HARASHIMA accepted the challenge and the match will take place on 3rd March.

Aoki was earlier seen watching the Daisuke Sasaki Vs Antonio Honda match near ringside. Sasaki threw his shirt at Aoki after the match, daring him to use his Gauntlet to try and win the Sword. Aoki kept calm and let Sasaki be.

Cody Hall used Danshoku Dieno’s help to beat Yuki Ueno. When a ref bump happened, Dieno got into the ring and gave Ueno the Lip Lock. The Hole Brothers then did their Brainbuster/Spear combo. Ueno kicked out of the pin but then Hall used his father’s finisher the Razor’s Edge to put him away. Dieno had earlier won an RTC Gauntlet from Naomi Yoshimura so The Hole Brothers are going from strength to strength against Nautilus.

DAMNATION being such a well oiled machine is the reason why Mad Paulie now has an RTC Gauntlet. He was in danger of submitted to Akito’s Ankle Lock when Tetsuya Endo covered Akito’s eyes break the hold. The distraction allowed Nobuhiro Shimatani to give Akito the Fisherman Buster. Paulie then followed up with the Reverse Splash for the three count.

When the 3 Way Match spilled outside of the ring, Yukio Sakaguchi and Soma Takao noticed a bunch of Cody Hall portraits was already placed out on the merch tables. So they took a quick break to shill the portraits for fans to buy.

At the beginning of the show, Takeshita spoke about the upcoming DDT debut of Royce Chambers. Takeshita said Chambers is pretty green but his aerial skills are amazing. Takeshita would like to branch ALL OUT over to Australia and invite more Australian wrestlers to join his group. Chambers wills face Chris Brookes on 3rd March.

The 2020 King Of DDT begins on 10th June and the final takes place on 28th June.

6. DDT UNIVERSAL Title: Konosuke Takeshita Vs Chris Brookes
7. KO-D Openweight Title: Masato Tanaka (c) Vs MAO

MAO said he is honored to be competing for the KO-D Openweight Title less than 5 years into his pro wrestling career. Masato Tanaka has been wrestling since before MAO was born. MAO saw him for the first time on TV Asahi’s “World Pro Wrestling” television program back in 2010. He thinks Tanaka is one of the people who made him dream of becoming a pro wrestler so this will be a very special match. Also MAO believes the core of DDT is now made up of the DNA generation with Konosuke Takeshita and Tetsuya Endo right in the centre. Winning the KO-D Title will make MAO join the centre. Tanaka wants MAO to deliver his strange brand of wrestling because he does not want to lose against that style.

The #STRONGHEARTS return to continue their business partnership with DAMNATION. They face ALL OUT with their honorary member Chihiro Hashimoto in an Elimination Tag match. Hopefully Yuki Iino has gotten over his problems with Hashimoto. Also Shunma Katsumata is back from his minor surgery. Elsewhere CIMA teams up with Soma Takao, who used to wrestle as BIMA in his college club days.

A sudden challenge has been made by Nagoya wrestler Kengo Takai. He is bringing a team with him to take on a selection of DDT wrestlers.

CIMA and Maku Donaruto will be on the show. Put them in the same match. Don’t put Donaruto with Yuni!

Akito used an Inverted Modified Crab Hold to submit Mad Paulie in the main event. He told the fans he was born in Nagoya City but his heart belongs to Ibaraki.

The real hometown heroes on today’s show were Hayato “Mach” Sakurai & Tanomusaku Toba. Sakurai stuggled to grapple with Yukio Naya but ultimately got to throw him down onto the canvas. HARASHIMA followed up with a Swan Dive Body Press. Mizuki Watase broke up Sakurai’s pin but all that got him was a Cross Armbreaker that made him tap out. Sakurai said pro wrestling is hard but he is a mixed martial artist. He can do anything with MMA!

Cody Hall used the help of his new tag partner Danshoku Dieno to beat Yuki Iino. He now has possession of the black Right To Challenge Gauntlet. Dieno calls this an immediate benefit to forming The Hole Brothers with him. Hall now wants to go after both the KO-D Openweight Title and the KO-D Tag Team Titles. Dieno wants to win every belt even the 6-Man and 10-Man Tag Titles! Dieno is now nicknaming himself Komon Hall due to this new alliance.

7. Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Survival 4 Way Match: Akito defeated Yuki Ueno, Yukio Sakaguchi and Soma Takao (16:47).
7a. Akito eliminated Soma Takao with a Cradle (11:29).
7b. Yuki Ueno eliminated Yukio Sakaguchi with a Modified Jackknife Pin (13:35).
7c. Akito eliminated Yuki Ueno with a Modified Leg Lock (16:47).
*Akito wins the green Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Gauntlet.

Three Right To Challenge Gauntlets have new owners. Akito, Naomi Yoshimura and Yuki Iino now all have a chance to get a KO-D Openweight Title whenever they want, as long as they don’t lose any matches before they cash it in. Akito is thrilled to be back in the title chase. He’s been positioned as a tag team wrestler after he lost the DDT Extreme Title. With the younger generation gaining progress in DDT, Akito doesn’t want to get left behind. Yoshimura thinks it is not a coincidence that the colour of his gauntlet is the same as when he cashed in on Konosuke Takeshita two and a half years ago. He is still tempted to go hunting for the Saitama Super Arena Sword. Yuki Iino said he will cash in his shot when the champion is as weak as possible.

The champion Masato Tanaka should be looking over his shoulder but right now his attention is solely focused on MAO. After winning the 3 Way Tag with Tetsuhiro Kuroda, Tanaka stood off with MAO. Suddenly MAO Dropkicked Tanaka and gave him the Michinoku Driver II. MAO admitted he was a little scared today but now he discovered he is too strong to be feeling scared.

The recent changes in the wrestling scene has given Danshoku Dieno plenty to think about. He doesn’t think Sanshiro Takagi is right in saying that DDT will stay the same after NOAH got purchased by CyberAgent. Things will be different and for Dieno it is a chance to still be an influential figure to carry DDT forward. In order to do this he needs to be a champion again. He asked Yukio Naya to form a team with him because Naya is big and comes from a yokozuna bloodline. Naya turned him down because he already has Cody Hall as a tag partner. Then during the match something unexpected happened. Hall turned on Naya! He hit him with a Lariat then Dieno gave his own tag partner Hiroshi Yamato a Brainbuster with Hall also Spearing Yamato on the way down. Dieno and Hall then attacked Yukinori Matsui causing the match to end via No Contest. Dieno got on the mic and said he has a “sex” partner with a yokozuna bloodline after all. He has the son of Scott Hall! Together Dieno and Hall are The Hole Brothers!

Kazuki Hirata had his entrance gear stolen before his match. He accused Antonio Honda behind the theft because he has done this kind of thing before. But much to everyone’s surprise it was Takeshita who came out wearing the stolen costume! Takeshita wrestling a match so low on the card had Hirata asking everyone if this was the main event.

At the start of the show Takagi told the fans DDT will not be any different with his new job at NOAH. The only change is Takagi will now be twice as busy.
