4. Usamin Chief Vs Muscle Monster! Special Single Match: Yuji Hino defeated SAGAT with the Fucking Bomb (13:22).
5. Fuminori Abe & Takato Nakano defeated Ryota Nakatsu & Akiyori Takizawa when Abe pinned Nakatsu with an Omoplata Clutch (22:18).

Fuminori Abe showed some creative manoeuvring to defeat Ryota Nakatsu. He had Nakatsu in a Triangle Choke late in the match. When Nakatsu tried to lift him up and power out of it, Abe turned it into an Omoplata and rolled Nakatsu onto his shoulders to pin him. Abe told Nakatsu that he’s beaten him twice in a row when Nakatsu is in his best condition. Abe will be ready for the Union MAX Title match on 29th January.

SAGAT threw everything he had at Yuji Hino. His downfall came when he missed a Diving Splash. SAGAT also went for the Goregrind but Hino turned it into the Fucking Bomb to win.

In an unexpected turn of events, Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi channelled Riki Choshu and used both the Riki Lariat and Scorpion Lock to make Best Stretchman V3 give up. There was a growing sense of jealousy between the two during the match that boiled over at the end. V3 challenged Hiroshi to face Stretchman Man in a match on 29th January with big stakes on the line. The winner will get management rights to the Best Stretch shop in Yoyogi-Uehara!

Shuichiro Katsumura and Shota had two singles matches inside the tiny little Ichigaya Nankai Memorial Clinic during 2018. They are tied one a piece so when Katsumura won the Independent World Jr. Heavyweight Title it wasn’t a difficult decision to pick his first challenger. Their rubber match takes place inside a proper ring this time.

The newest foreign wrestler to debut in DDT is Space Monkey! According to DDT’s write up he is a monkey born in Canada, was sent to a space centre in America for experiments, escaped back to Canada, was captured in the mountains and then sold off to numerous circuses. Monkey eventually ran away, started a pro wrestling career four years ago and somehow successfully pitched the idea to DDT to get booked by them. Monkey already has some notoriety among the Japanese wrestling fanbase. In 2017 he was nominated for Best Foreigner by the Nico Nico Pro Wrestling website.

Kikutaro will also be on the show.

6. NWA International Lightweight Tag Team Titles: Fuminori Abe & Ikuto Hidaka (c) defeated Ryota Nakatsu & Akiyori Takizara when Abe submitted Nakatsu with the O-Manjigatame (19:46).
*V3 for Fuminori Abe & Ikuto Hidaka.

Fuminori Abe sent his message loud and clear. By making Ryota Nakatsu submit he now wants a shot at the Union MAX Title! Abe admits he doesn’t know about the history of the championship or who has fought for it before him. But he thinks the two strongest wrestlers in BASARA are himself and Nakatsu. He has to beat Nakatsu to become the strongest and lead BASARA into the future! Nakatsu didn’t like hearing that because he thinks he is BASARA’s future. The title match takes place on 29th January.

The return of Isami Kodaka fro injury was spoiled by Naoki Tanizaki. When Kodaka avoided the Implant it led to a scramble of pins that Tanizaki got the best of, countering one Cradle into another for the three count. The defeat stops any immediate chance Kodaka had of getting a Union MAX Title rematch with Nakatsu. Kodaka said he feels the pain but this is pro wrestling. BASARA moved on while he was gone. It’s now his goal to catch up and overtake everyone else!

Takumi Tsukamoto held onto the back of FUMA’s pants during the School Boy to pin him. The two fought after the match and had to be pulled apart.

In Match #2 Takato Nakano went for a Swan Dive but SAGAT caught him with the Goregrind in midair for the win.

It is now confirmed that the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles match is the main event for DDT’s first show of the year. #STRONGHEARTS defend against ALL OUT and there’s a few small stories to keep track of. CIMA wants Akito to take the fall so #STRONGHEARTS will have swept over the entire ALL OUT unit. CIMA is also encouraging Duan Yingnan to beat Konosuke Takeshita to raise the newcomer’s reputation. Takeshita is riding a wave of momentum by winning the D-Ou Grand Prix as well as the New Year Shuffle Tag Tournament. #STRONGHEART’s only defeat in DDT happened because of Akito and he’s the sole person in the company to claim a win over the invaders. Yuki Iino is eager to show what he learned teaming with Daisuke Sekimoto on the New Year’s Eve show.

The 3 Way Tag is now a Ladder match with an otoshidama gift envelope hanging above the ring for the wrestlers to fight over.

6. TOKYO Princess Tag Team Titles: Yuka Sakazaki & Mizuki (c) Vs Shoko Nakajima & Riho
7. TOKYO Princess Of Princess Title: Miyu Yamashita (c) Vs Maki Ito

For those attending this show, it will end at around 2:30pm so you’ll have plenty of time to get ready for the Tokyo Dome afterwards.

Will Miyu Yamashita’s curiosity about Maki Ito’s abilities get in the way of her own performance? Two months ago she intentionally beat Ito with a Crab Hold in order to see how Ito would recover her momentum. A month later Ito was able to pin Yamashita as part of a 2/3 Falls Tag Match so Ito is capable of beating the champion even if it’s by fluke. Yamashita is certain they will have an interesting match together and wants to find out what version of Ito shows up for the big main event. Ito thinks this is the most special TOKYO Princess Title match ever. She knows that the fanbase are expecting her to lose but that only means they won’t see it coming when she wins! Ito lost a lot and went through many twists and turns to get here. If she becomes champion, fans can look at her and think “Maybe I am a loser like Ito, but I might be able to win like her too.”

The Magical Sugar Rabbits are determined to hold onto the TOKYO Princess Tag Team Titles because the championship is what makes their team. They will always be on good terms but should they lose the belts to the Twin Cam Monsters then it would greatly diminish their bond. The belts are what brought them together in the first place and they’re having too much fun together to let it fade away like that.

Shuji Ishikawa has signed a contract with All Japan which means he won’t be around for DAMNATION any more. Daisuke Sasaki tweeted that he now has to look for a new pet. Maybe Mad Paulie can cheer him up. Will Sasaki be in the right mindset for Takeshita at Sumo Hall next month? Was he even in the right mindset before?

5. Trans-Am ★ Trans-Am: Trans-Am ★ Ryuji defeated Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi with the Perfect Plex (9:14).
6. Sparky Vs Sento Minzoku!: Ryota Nakatsu, Naoki Tanizaki & Akiyori Takizara defeated Ryuichi Sekine, Daiki Shimomura & Minoru Fujita when Nakatsu pinned Shimomura with the V Slider (16:50).

Sparky won the main event over Sento Minzoku but continued to attack them after the bell. Suddenly a person wearing a bag over his head entered the ring and fought off Ryota Nakatsu. The man then removed his bag and was revealed to be Isami Kodaka! He said he will be ready to return from injury in time for the 6th January BASARA show. Kodaka asked Nakatsu if he’s been having fun as the Union MAX Champion while he was absent. Even though Kodaka hasn’t been at the shows lately he’s still watching them and when he comes back on the 6th he wants to challenge for the championship! Naoki Tanizaki took the microphone and asked Kodaka if he remembers who took the MAX Title from him? It was Tanizaki and he’s not going to let Kodaka come in and get a title match so quickly. If Kodaka wants to challenge Nakatsu, he better get past Tanizaki first! Kodaka accepted Tanizaki’s challenge for 6th January.

Trans-Am ★ Ryuji defeated Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi and looked to have hurt their friendship in the process. Ryuji punched Hiroshi and told him goodbye after the match, leaving Hiroshi alone in the ring. Hiroshi was upset until “Last Christmas” played and Ryuji came back out wearing a Santa hat singing along to the song. Hiroshi joined in, they hugged and then wished everyone a Merry Christmas.

Yasu Urano went through an audition to become a Best Stretchman. He pinned Stretchman Man with a School Boy after Man accidentally struck Best Stretchman Amazon with his hook. After the match it was determined that Urano failed the audition because Best Stretchman V3 felt he acted too stubborn whenever he was asked to do the Best Stretch exercises.

Masato Kamino’s first show as a BASARA wrestler was a busy one. He lost his debut match to Fuminori Abe but left the ring feeling encouraged. He then had to come back out because he was now being put on trial by Gouma Ryu and Atsushi Maruyama! He was accused of fraud and exploitation in regards to fight money. Kamino had to sit through Ryu and Maruyama wrestling each other while they argued over the case. It was during this that information came out about Kamino having a bad history with another wrestling company beginning with the letter K. Ryuichi Sekine was brought out as a witness but Maruyama ignored him so he could talk with a woman in the front row instead. Ryu got Maruyama back into the ring and they both agreed to use wrestling as a way to relax during their lawyer work. They then attacked Kamino and hit him over the head with Ryu’s law book. Maruyama then knocked over Ryu and pinned Kamino with a Buzzsaw Kick. There was a lesson to be learned today. Maruyama wants Kamino to face his past and be honest about it. When he does he will then be able to take a fresh step in a new direction. Kamino agreed and promised to do his best from the ground up in BASARA.

5. Hardcore Match: Great Sasuke defeated FUMA with the Sasuke Special X Ver.10.2 (Imitation Prohibited) With TLC (24:31).

It was heavy metal galore in Shin-Kiba 1st RING for the second FUMA FEST show. Bands like Hellhound, Barbatos, Gotsu-Totsu-Kotsu, Black Sweet, Nihonto, Alice In Hell, Dragon’s Den and The Kandarivas all performed songs inbetween matches.

In the main event FUMA took on The Great Sasuke in a Hardcore Match. A ladder was laid down onto one of the bleachers for FUMA to do an Exploder Suplex onto. Sasuke got revenge by Power Bombing FUMA onto a table then Thunder Fire Bombing him onto a pile of chairs on top of the ladder. To finish it off Sasuke placed FUMA on the table, laid the chairs over him and stood the ladder beside him. Sasuke then hit the Sasuke Special X Ver.10.2 Missile Dropkick into the pile to get the three count.

FUMA thanked Sasuke for wrestling him today. He told Sasuke that he’s admired him for championing smaller wrestlers during the 90s and had been longing to wrestle him. FUMA took back what he said earlier this year when he accused Sasuke of blasphemy towards heavy metal for liking the band Anvil. FUMA now understands that Sasuke has had the heavy metal spirit inside him all along. Sasuke said “Hell yeah!” and they shook hands. FUMA then put his jacket on Sasuke and they sang together with the last rock performance from Hellhound. FUMA said FUMA FEST will definitely be coming back next year. As long as he is here, FUMA FEST is immortal!

Nakatsu Dickinson is Ryota Nakatsu acting like Bruce Dickinson. Abe Halford is Fuminori Abe acting like Rob Halford.

Former DNA wrestler Masato Kamino announced he signed a contract with BASARA on 1st December and will debut for the group on the 18th. Kamino didn’t get to wrestle much in DNA because he was plagued with knee injuries. At the time he was known for wearing a fancy ring jacket but he seems to have gotten rid of it.
