3. G-COSMOS 2017 in Prince Special Double Bout: Takafumi Ito & Nobuhiro Tsurumaki defeated Shuichiro Katsumura & Yumehito Imanari when Tsurumaki submitted Imanari with the Back Facelock (13:25).
4. Flames, Heart, Repeatedly: Mitomi Masayuki defeated Shibata with the Salty Splash (8:42).
5. Ganbare☆Wrestling Vs Shin Ganbare☆Wrestling: Ken Ohka & Shinichiro Tominaga defeated Kenso Ohka & Osamu Namiguchi when Ohka pinned Namaguchi with the Spear Of Fire (16:17).

Alliances old and new were formed throughout today’s show because the World’s Strongest Ganbare☆Tag Tournament is taking place in April. Shin Ganbare☆Wrestling were defeated in the main event and Kenso Ohka placed the blame on Osamu Namiguchi. Kenso dropped a surprise and said he’ll be teaming with someone else in the tournament. He’ll be teaming with KAZMA SAKAMOTO! After Kenso left, Ken Ohka asked Shinichiro Tominaga to be enter the tournament with him. Tominaga politely declined because he already asked Hi69 to team with him. When the show was over Ohka went searching for a tag partner. Atsushi Maruyama agreed at first but then remembered he is already booked elsewhere. Both Takafumi Ito and Shuichiro Katsumura asked to team with Ohka but he couldn’t choose between them. So Ito and Katsumura decided to team together instead. Finally Ohka got a Facetime call from Ai Shimizu. She is currently in Toyama, Ohka’s hometown. Shimizu is training to become stronger and went to Toyama to learn Ohka’s secrets. To prove it she told Ohka she was on the call with his dad! When the call ended Ohka accepted that he wouldn’t find a tag partner today.

The atmosphere for Mitomi Masayuki Vs Shibata was tense as there was still some uneasiness in their friendship. Masayuki wanted to bury the hatchet but Shibata kept rejecting him. It wasn’t until the match ended that Shibata saw the light and agreed to reform Enjo-gun with Masayuki.

Yumehito Imanari was in a good mood because he just purchased a guide to Catch-As-Catch-Can wrestling written by Billy Robinson. Imanari studied the book and predicted he would win his match with the Double Arm Suplex. Whatever he studied didn’t stick because he had to flick through the book again before the bell rang. His attempts to do the Double Arm Suplex failed. Ito countered the move into a Manjigatame then Tsurumaki tapped him out with the Back Facelock. Ito and Katsumura got into a brawl after the match. Ito challenged Katsumura to a singles match then admitted he was getting bored with their current situation.

Sayaka Obihiro began her match with Maruyama by warning him that she’s been taking Shorinji Kempo lessons. He didn’t take her seriously. In fact, Marutama told Obuhiro he’s been studying her matches in preparation and listed all of her signature moves as proof. He challenged her to perform those moves and then pin him so he could kick out of them. He succeeded in kicking out of all of them but an unexpected collision ended with Obihiro falling on top of him and getting the three count. Afterwards Obihiro said she is from Hokkaido, Maruyama is from Osaka and Ohka is from Toyama. She now wants to wrestle opponents from all the other prefectures in Japan.

Ohka approached Yukihiro Abe after the opening match and asked him if he had a partner in mind for the Tag League. Suddenly Keisuke Ishii appeared and did a Double Dropkick with Abe to Ohka. Ishii thinks he himself is a good choice for Abe to team with. Ishii wants to enter a tag league because it reminds him of his favourite AJPW Real World Tag League match, Kenta Kobashi & Jun Akiyama Vs Stan Hansen & Akira Taue from 1999. Now Ishii & Abe are thinking of a team name. They will either be Return Of Young Drama or Memory Of Young Drama.

Another team was formed during the show. Nobuhiro Tsurumaki wants to team with Chikara. The two fought each other before when Tsurumaki under the mask as Mars Spector. Chikara earned his respect during those matches.

1. GANBARE NEW WAVE: Shinichiro Tominaga & Shota Nakagawa defeated Yukihiro Abe & Andromeda KEN when Tominaga submitted KEN with the Just Face Lock (8:33).
2. G-COSMOS 2017 ~ Japan Vs Thailand International Combat In Prince – Punch Drunk Rules: Takafumi Ito defeated Tanomusaku Toba by TKO with a Right Hook (R4 2:26).
3. Ai Shimizu Ganbare☆Wrestling Trial – 3rd Round: Cassandra Miyagi defeated Ai Shimizu with the Tombstone Piledriver (15:55).
4. Japanese Psycho ~When You Fight~: Yumehito Imanari defeated Mars Spector with a Sleeper Hold (9:59).
5. Ganbare☆Wrestling Vs Shin Ganbare☆Wrestling: Ken Ohka, Shuichiro Katsumura & Mitomi Masayuki defeated Kenso Ohka, Osamu Namiguchi & Shibata when Masayuki pinned Shibata with the Salty Splash (17:39).

Ganbare☆Wrestling struck back at their evil doppelganger Shin Ganbare☆Wrestling with a victory in a 6-Man Tag Match. Kenso Ohka was angry at Shibata for taking the fall and banished him from Shin Ganpuro as punishment! Mitomi Masayuki approached Shibata and asked if he wanted them to team up again. Masayuki said the most fun he’s had in wrestling was when they were part of Enjo-gun together. He knows Shibata doesn’t have to rely on wrestling as a career because he has a successful Youtube channel. But if Shibata wants to continue wrestling, Masayuki will be there for him. Shibata told him to die, then left the ring.

The masked Mars Spector has been a powerful force in Ganpuro since May last year. However Yumehito Imanari not only stood up to him today but beat him too! Imanari survived Spector’s attacks to sink in a Sleeper Hold and never letting go. After the match Spector unmasked and was revealed to be Nobuhiro Tsurumaki, MMA fighter and Super FMW wrestler. Tsurumaki explained the Mars Spector gimmick was a tribute to the late Koichiro Kimura. Kimura wrestled under a mask as Super Uchu Power in DDT. Tsurumaki thought about going to DDT when he came up with the idea but then came across Ganpuro. Him in DDT wouldn’t be a big deal, but him in a small company with many weak wrestlers would be easy for him to make an impact. However during his time here he learned that everybody in Ganpuro are doing their best to help the company grow. Tsurumaki felt it was now time for him to leave but Ken Ohka stopped him. Ohka said his debut match 15 years ago involved Kimura. As long as Tsurumaki does his best, he is welcome in Ganpuro.

Ai Shimizu is now 0-3 in her trial series. Her latest loss was against Cassandra Miyagi from Sendai Girls. Miyagi yelled “Dead, Shimizu!” before hitting the match winning Tombstone Piledriver.

The Punch Drunk Rules match had Takafumi Ito and Tanomusaku Toba both wearing boxing gloves as they wrestled. Strikes, throws and submissions were encouraged by the rules and they fought in rounds until one could beat the other. Ito knocked out Toba with a Right Hook in Round 4 to win.

Shota Nakagawa kicked Andromeda KEN in the face when he refused to shake hands after Match #1.

The opening introductions were interrupted when a foreign masked wrestler entered the ring. He introduced himself as SoCal Crazy, world traveller and No. 1 Best Luchador! He heard Ganpuro is the No. 1 promotion in Japan and wanted to see if that’s true. Ohka scrambled to find an opponent to give Crazy a tryout and found another masked wrestler, Space Galaxy Warrior Andros. Andros was in the area searching for a companion he was separated from while they were protecting planet Earth. Crazy used his Lucha skills to beat him and they shook hands after the match.

Ganpuro has some special shows coming up. The Ganbare☆Wrestling Olympic Games take place on 4th March. Then on 2nd April a Ganbare Tag Tournment will be held.

1. Real Tiger Mask Vs Rikidozan III: Shuichiro Katsumura defeated Chikara with the Jumping Cross Armbreaker (7:25).
2. Ganpuro Special Mixed Tag: American Balloon & Sayaka Obihiro defeated Kenta Hattori & Ai Shimizu when Obihiro pinned Shimizu with the Bath (10:09).
3. G-COSMOS 2016 in Prince: Takafumi Ito defeated Rionne Fujiwara with a Crooked Headscissors (10:30).
4. Double Main Event I: Shota & Mitomi Masayuki defeated Yukihiro Abe & Shinichiro Tominaga when Shota pinned Tominaga with a Kido Clutch (16:07).
5. Double Main Event II – Shin Ganbare☆Wrestling Raising An Army: Osamu Namiguchi & Kenso Ohka defeated Ken Ohka & Yumehito Imanari when Ohka pinned Imanari with a Spear (12:24).

The show began with Osamu Namiguchi welcoming everyone to Shin Ganbare☆Wrestling. He said the theme of Shin Ganpuro is major pro wrestling and the main event would prove that. All of the regular Ganbare☆Wrestling matches happening before the main event were just toilet breaks as far as he was concerned. Ken Ohka stormed out and said he will show Namiguchi what the real Ganpuro is like in the main event.

Namiguchi had a big surprise in store for Ohka. The second member of Shin Ganpuro was revealed to be KENSO! However, KENSO came out to Ohka’s entrance music and wore matching gear. He is now Kenso Ohka! Not only did KENSO steal Ohka’s gimmick but he stole his finisher as well when he pinned Yumehito Imanari with the Spear. KENSO calls it a major Spear that is completely different from the fake one Ken Ohka does. Shuichiro Katsumura unexpectedly came out to confront Shin Ganpuro. He doesn’t see himself as a Ganpuro wrestler but he likes it here and won’t stand for this copycat coming in to ruin things. He invited Ken Ohka & Imanari to come train with him in his gym. Ohka said that Ganpuro stands for Ken Ohka, Ganpuro stands for Yumehito Imanari and Ganpuro stands for Shuichiro Katsumura. Together they will fight against Shin Ganpuro!

Kenta Hattori & Ai Shimizu both felt sorry for American Balloon’s sagging man boobs. Balloon’s man boobs came in handy when he used them to stop Shimizu from giving Sayaka Obihiro the Kamikaze. Obihiro then rolled Shimizu over for the win. Ohka was critical of Shimizu losing the match and encouraged her to try harder for her next match. Ohka said by the time Shimizu’s Ganpuro trial series is done she will become a worthy pro wrestler. Her next match in this series will be against Shota.

Ganpuro will run a special 15th Anniversary show for Ken Ohka at Shin-Kiba 1st RING on 22nd December. Ohka has a certain opponent in mind that he is eager to wrestle against but cannot guarantee if he can even negotiate with him. Imanari wants to put together a special women’s match for the show. His original idea was Bambi & Manami Kanda Vs Viper and somebody else. However it seems that Viper is unavailable on that date. Ohka promised Imanari that he will find two beautiful wrestlers to take on Bambi & Kanda.

*DAMNATION becomes the 26th KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Champions!

After over two months of inactivity we now have new KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Champions! The finals of the tournament took place in Saitama and in the end DAMNATION tore through NωA and Shuten-dōji to claim the belts. Daisuke Sasaki said DAMNATION will continue to overwhelm DDT when Shuji Ishikawa wins the KO-D Openweight Title at Sumo Hall.

The 4 Way Match presented a unique preview of the “PETER PAN 2016” main event. Ishikawa will definitely be facing the KO-D Champion but the champion could be Toru Owashi instead of Konosuke Takeshita. Kazusada Higuchi was also there as a potential wild card. Takeshita looked to have the match won when he weakened Owashi with a Lariat and Blue Thunder Bomb but Owashi caught him by surprise with an Inside Cradle and pinned the champion out of nowhere. Owashi told Takeshita that two days from now the fun will be over when they fight for the KO-D Title.

With Antonio Honda translating for him, Mike Bailey told the audience he isn’t satisfied with his tour yet because he has a lot more to do in Japan. Today’s DDT debut is only the beginning of Mike Bailey. He is anxious to team with Dick Togo at Sumo Hall because to him, Togo is the most successful wrestler in the world.

This months Infomercial Match was sponsored by the book store Shosen. The match would consist of five rounds between the two teams with different rules to represent the different shop floors found in Shosen stores. Round 1 was one count pinfalls. Danshoku Dino immediately pinned Kazuki Hirata. Round 2 was two count pinfalls. Saki Akai tied the score when she pinned Super Sasadango Machine. From there Akai’s team won the remaining rounds. Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi submitted Gota Ihashi in Round 3 where submissions were needed to win. Akai kicked Ihashi out of the ring in Round 4 with Over The Top Rope rules. Finally Round 5 was just a normal match and Akai pinned Dino to end the series 4-1 in favour of her team.

KENSO had to fight Sanshiro Takagi in a 5 minute Iron Man Match to earn a spot on the “PETER PAN 2016” card. The match ended 1-1 but regardless of the outcome KENSO’s fate was left in the hands of three judges: DDT staff member Hisaya Imabayashi, Shukan Puroresu’s DDT correspondent Asata Kato and legendary wrestler Mitsuo Momota. The judges’ scorecards were 30-27, 28-30 and 30-2 resulting in a 2-1 victory for Takagi. KENSO complained about the 30-2 score from Momota. Momota straight up told KENSO he doesn’t want to see him wrestle in Sumo Hall! KENSO said he loves the DDT fans and wanted nothing more than to be at “PETER PAN 2016”. Takagi had a change of heart and told KENSO he can wrestle at Sumo Hall. He then told him about the upcoming DDT Dramatic General Election. It is mentally exhausting to campaign for votes but it will prove once and for all what the DDT fans think of KENSO. KENSO said he has experience with elections because he helped his wife Hiroko Suzuki campaign for her seat in the Funabashi City Council. He agreed to enter and is determined to finish first.

Chikara appeared at the start of the show to announce his participation for “PETER PAN 2016”. He is honoured to wrestle in the same building his father Mitsuo Momota wrestled in many times throughout his career. It was decided that while he was here in Kasukabe Hall he will wrestle in an impromptu match. Yumehito Imanari came out complaining that DDT yet again forgot to organise a King Of Dark Title match in advance. Chikara offered his Power Of Dreams friend to be his opponent. Amon Tsurumi excitedly agreed with the idea and made the match there and then. Chikara did his many Chops but Imanari scored the win with a Samson Clutch, meaning Chikara is now the King Of Dark Champion! Chikara was told he will have to fight in the Sumo Hall dark match unless he wins a DDT dark match before then. He’ll have one chance to get rid of the title at the first show of Beer Garden week.

8. KO-D Openweight Title – Good Com Asset Presents: Konosuke Takeshita (c) Vs Shuji Ishikawa

The Tag Team Titles will be fought over by two pairs of brothers from other mothers. Ken Ohka & KAI aren’t the first wrestlers from separate promotions to bond together in DDT. HARASHIMA & Yuko Miyamoto have been good buddies for a while and have teamed together at the last New Year’s Eve show.

Soma Takao is still undefeated at “PETER PAN” with a 7-0 record on the show. He can make it 8-0 and win the AJPW Jr. Title too if he beats Hikaru Sato.

The Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title is scheduled to return home next month. However its current trip around the world might make a return difficult. DDT is limited by who they can bring in for the Battle Royal. It is impossible for them to bring in any of the wrestlers who recently won the title overseas.

Super Sasadango Machine is now managing NωA and handling their efforts to enter the music industry. He organised a match against other wrestlers who have or had some sort of music career away from wrestling.

6. Shigehiro Irie Send-off Match: Shigehiro Irie & Yukio Sakaguchi defeated HARASHIMA & Keisuke Ishii when Irie pinned Ishii with the Beast Bomber (13:55).
7. KO-D Openweight Title: Konosuke Takeshita (c) defeated Tetsuya Endo with the German Suplex (24:08).
*V2 for Konosuke Takeshita. Tetsuya Endo cashes in his Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Contract.

Konosuke Takeshita is still the KO-D Openweight Champion but it came at the cost of losing his best friend and tag team partner. Tetsuya Endo was the latest Right To Challenge holder to get his title shot and threw everything out there. He hit a No Touch Tope and a Swan Dive Elbow but Takeshita yelled at him to attack more. Endo went for the Torture Rack Bomb but it was countered with a Headlock. The Sky Twister Press missed and the two were soon both on their knees trading Elbow Smashes. Endo hit a Flip Piledriver for a nearfall. He later did an Avalanche Hurricanrana but Takeshita used the momentum to roll Endo into a pin for a two count. Takeshita then countered another Hurricanra into a Power Bomb. It finally took two German Suplexes to put Endo away.

Takeshita praised the match they just had and said he wants their generation to liven up DDT. He offered a handshake but was suddenly interrupted by DAMNATION. Unit leader Daisuke Sasaki looked at Endo and asked him if he was tired of being a second class wrestler underneath his friend? He held up a DAMNATION T-shirt and asked if Endo wants to join them. Endo shocked everyone by pushing Takeshita away and accepting the shirt! Sasaki introduced everyone to DAMNATION’s 4th member, Tetsuya Endo!

When DAMNATION left ringside Takeshita was crushed. Ever since Endo won the contract in Hakata, Takeshita wanted nothing more than to have this title match with his friend in Korakuen Hall. If that wasn’t bad enough, “Sandstorm” played over the music system and Toru Owashi came out . The holder of the last active Right To Challenge contract finally decided on the date for his KO-D Title match. Amon Tsurumi stepped in and guessed the date. 23rd July in Yokohama? No, Owashi said that was too soon. How about 13th August in Shinjuku FACE for the last show of Beer Garden week? No, instead Owashi will cash in at the beginning of Beer Garden week on 8th August! Owashi said he waited four months for his title shot because it made him strong and the timing of it means he is guaranteed to go into Sumo Hall as the champion if he wins. And in Sumo Hall he will be so strong it’s scary! Takeshita’s response was that he will beat Owashi with the German Suplex and go on to face Shuji Ishikawa.

Shigehiro Irie bid farewell to DDT and Japan with his final match before his American excursion. Irie couldn’t hold back the tears as he was showered with green tape from the fans. But he still had a match with Yukio Sakaguchi, HARASHIMA and Keisuke Ishii to go through. He hit the Beast Bomber twice on Ishii to win the match for himself & Sakaguchi. Irie bowed to all four sides of the arena to a thunderous applause.

Daisuke Sasaki isn’t happy to see his mentor Dick Togo back in action. Togo won his Korakuen return match and offered to shake hands with Kazusada Higuchi afterwards. Sasaki came out and went to hug Togo but instead gave him a Low Blow. Sasaki called Togo a dickhead and said that his disciple has gotten stronger during his four year absence. Togo tackled Sasaki and punched him over and over until wrestlers and referees came out to stop him. Sasaki gave one of the referees the Michinoku Driver II before leaving the ring. Togo was furious at Sasaki’s actions.

NωA continues to struggle, this time losing to DAMNATION. However help came afterwards in the form of Super Sasadango Machine. Sasadango complimented their musical and dancing talents but noticed a big flaw in their performance. They have no strong business relationships. Their strength in pro wrestling is tied to the strength of their business relationships. Sasadango offered to be their manager and handle all of NωA’s behind the scenes business. He also promised to get them booked on the “DDT FES 2016” show in November.

Toru Owashi successfully defended his Right To Challenge Contract once again, this time in a 10-Person Tag Match. Owashi unmasked Super Sasadango Machine and pinned him with La Magistral Cradle. Danshoku Dino told Owashi after the match that today was the last DDT show in Korakuen Hall before “PETER PAN 2016” so maybe he can finally cash in his title shot. Sanshiro Takagi also pushed for Owashi to do it. Or maybe he could have the contract instead. Owashi slapped Takagi and said he already decided when he will get his title match. Owashi then had to flee from ringside when he was chased by wrestlers begging for the contract.

Masa Takanashi is now wrestling under his real name Masahiro Takanashi plus he got a new entrance song to boot. But his moment in the spotlight was stolen by Soma Takao when Takao pinned Kota Umeda to continue his string of victories. His victory was interrupted by the return of Hikaru Sato! The Hard Hit fighter and former DDT wrestler is now currently the AJPW Jr. Heavyweight Champion and he was recently challenged by Takao to a title match. Sato’s appearance was to announce the date and location of the match. All Japan has allowed the match to take place at “PETER PAN 2016”!

Amon Tsurumi’s bright idea of pairing Sanshiro Takagi & KENSO together as a team caused as much trouble as expected yet still produced results. Before their match began Takagi and KENSO argued over whose entrance song they should use. Daisuke Kiso came up with the solution to use both songs at the same time.
