Sanshiro Takagi is unable to compete because of his arm injury. But he will be at the Battle Royal to accompany the idols taking part in the match.

A match between Miyu Yamashita and Miu Watanabe is supposedly going to make them a better team before they challenge for the Princess Tag Team Titles.

Tokyo Itabashi Green Hall

1. Union MAX Title: Ryuichi Sekine (c) Vs Isami Kodaka

Isami Kodaka gets his Union MAX Title match that he earned for winning the Heaven Summit ~Itadaki~. He is extra motivated to win so he can become a triple crown champion. He currently holds the BJW Death Match Title and the UWA World 6-Man Tag Team Titles. That last one he shares with the MAX Champ Ryuichi Sekine so Sekine is also one belt away from becoming a triple champion himself.

5. International Princess Title – 1st Champion Decision Battle: Natsumi Maki Vs Gisele Shaw

Su Yung isn’t taking it easy for her Tokyo Joshi Pro return. She is already gunning after one of the big names in Yuka Sakazaki.

Riho is still a freelancer, for now at least. Let’s not worry about it.

2. Saki & Su Yung Vs Asuka & Makoto
3. Summer Jumbo Special Two Big Singles Match: Puma King Vs Yuki Ueno
4. Summer Jumbo Special Two Big Singles Match: Shinya Aoki Vs Makoto Oishi
5. Konosuke Takeshita’s Summer Measures Against Shinya Aoki: Konosuke Takeshita Vs Danshoku Dieno Army Elite Members

Konosuke Takeshita found out that Danshoku Dieno is putting him through a series of high level opponents in order to prepare for his match with Shinya Aoki. Takeshita doesn’t know what to expect out of this.

The plan was to have Saki Akai team with Su Yung but Akai has the day off and will not be changing her plans. Instead Akai has made DDT book a distant non-blood relative of hers simply named Saki. Her name is written as “娑鬼” which can be translated to “Demon”. Akai claim the only times they have met in person were when they were children. Even then her memory of what Saki looks like is blurry. Akai drew a picture of what she thinks Saki looks like now. She assures to everyone that Saki is not part of the UMA Corps (Akai isn’t liked by them) but she is not certain if she is a human or a demon. Akai used her parents to contact Saki in the Kyoto mountains to set up this match with Yung against Asuka & Makoto.

Puma King is back in DDT for the first time since January.

This show will feature the DDT debut of Santino Marella! It will be his first appearance in DDT but he is a former Iron Man Champion.

Osaka Edion Arena #2

2. Maki Itoh Vs Su Yung

4. Princess Of Princess Title: Shoko Nakajima (c) Vs Mizuki

A NEO Biishiki-gun reunion is on the cards but one person isn’t looking forward to it. Tatsumi still believes that the child maid Martha is really an old man who drinks a lot. A trios match has been put together and Tatsumi is gathering her team. She already has Sakazaki on her side and she promises a super special person will be joining them.

Gisele Shaw will be on the show.

*No footnote. That’s just how the idol unit name is spelled.

**Oh wait, this is being posted on the one year anniversary of Maho Kurone leaving Tokyo Joshi Pro. There’s your footnote.

3. Yuna Manase & Yuki Kamifuku defeated Pom Harajuku & Himawari Unagi when Manase pinned Harajuku with the Suzuki Dynamic (7:27).

6. Shoko Nakajima, Nodoka Tenma & Yuki Aino defeated Mizuki, Natsumi Maki & Hikari Noa when Nakajima pinned Noa with the Northern Lights Suplex (14:22).

There is a big Osaka show for Tokyo Joshi Pro coming up in September so today’s visit to the area was to build up anticipation for that date. After the main event Shoko Nakajima said she is looking forward to September but right now in the summertime she is getting stronger. They have two big shows coming up in Korakuen Hall and Osaka Edion Arena #2 which is making Nakajima feel ambitious.

Sakisama mocked her opponents after Match #5 and announced that her young maid Martha will return for a match on the 1st September Osaka show. Rika Tatsumi heard this, entered the ring and called Martha an old drunk. This offended Sakisama and she demanded that NEO Biishiki-gun face Tatsumi & Yuka Sakazaki in a match. Tatsumi agreed but said since it is currently 3 Vs 2 she will bring in a special person to even the odds and make it a trios match.

Today was the first time Miyu Yamashita & Miu Watanabe teamed together for a regular tag match after their challenge for the Princess Tag Team Titles was accepted. Things are working out well so far with some double team moves established and a victory under their belts. However before their title match happens, Watanabe asked Yamashita for a singles match together. She wants to understand Yamashita at her full strength so they can become a better team afterwards.

Some of Su Yung’s upcoming matches in Tokyo Joshi were announced. She faces Yuka Sakazaki on 25th August in Korakuen and then has a match with Maki Itoh in Osaka on 1st September.

The rookie Izumi will have her debut match on 1st September. She & Mirai Maiumi will take on Shoko Nakajima & Riho. It’s the return of the Twin Cam Monsters!

Time to spend another summer at the Beer Garden. ALL OUT kicks off this year’s series with their first KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles defence. Their opponents are the trio of Isami Kodaka, Ikuto Hidaka & Fuminori Abe. Not quite Team BASARA, not quite Team ZERO1. It’s somewhere inbetween.

Sakura Hirota gets to come back for DDT after her impressive comedy work at the ALL OUT x Sendai Girls show.

Osaka Edion Arena #2

Mizuki gets the title shot for winning the Tokyo Princess Cup. Since this show is happening a week after Tokyo Joshi’s event at Korakuen Hall it leaves me wondering what will they have planned for the Korakuen show?

Su Yung will be on the show, returning after her first tour from May last year.

2. Tokyo Princess Cup – Semi-Final: Yuna Manase defeated Yuka Sakazaki with the Suzuki Dynamic (10:51).
3. Tokyo Princess Cup – Semi-Final: Mizuki defeated Natsumi Maki with a Cradle (7:24).
4. Nodoka Tenma, Raku & YUMI defeated Yuki Kamifuku, Himawari Unagi & Makoto Kiryu when Tenma pinned Kiryu with the Killswitch (11:04).
5. Sakisama & Misao defeated Yuki Aino & Mirai Maiumi when Sakisama pinned Maiumi with the Academy Award (10:55).
6. Shoko Nakajima, Rika Tatsumi & Hikari Noa defeated Miyu Yamashita, Maki Itoh & Miu Watanabe when Nakajima pinned Watanabe with the Northern Lights Suplex (14:14).
7. Tokyo Princess Cup – Final: Mizuki defeated Yuna Manase with the Cutie Special (17:05).

For the first time the Tokyo Princess Cup final was without a trueborn Tokyo Joshi Pro wrestler. Both Mizuki and Yuna Manase are freelancers. In the final Mizuki avoided the Suzuki Dynamic that had worked so well for Manase throughout the tournament. Instead it was Mizuki who had her hand raised when she got the pin with the Cutie Special.

Shoko Nakajima told Mizuki after the match that they will have their TOKYO Princess Title match in Osaka on 1st September. Mizuki will treat the match as a challenge but Nakajima will treat it as a shot at revenge for being eliminated by Mizuki in the 2nd round. When she left Mizuki thanked everyone for their support and she will continue to do her best so everyone can be happy together!

A Cradle reversal is what sent Mizuki to the final over Natsumi Maki. The match got pretty rough early on when both girls gave each other Hair Whips across the ring. Maki said she done it as a calculated move because she wrestles similarly to Mizuki. In her first Tokyo Joshi tournament, Maki feels she has grown amazingly from the wins and even the loss she received.

The semi-finals kicked off with Manase eliminating Yuka Sakazaki in an upset. Manase fought out of a Modified Armlock then stunned Sakazaki with a Rolling Elbow. That gave Manase the opening to give Sakazaki the Suzuki Dynamic. Sakazaki said she wanted to see Mizuki reach the final but was upset she wouldn’t be there with her.

In the 6-Woman Tag Maki Itoh and Hikari Noa kept giving each other the middle finger. Rika Tatsumi tried to put Miyu Yamashita in the Dragon Sleeper but when she couldn’t she was still able to defend herself from Yamashita’s kicks. Miu Watanabe overpowered Shoko Nakajima with the Giant Swing but her attempt at the Tear Drop was countered into a DDT. Nakajima then finished off Watanabe with the Northern Lights Suplex.

At the beginning of the show there was a contract signing between NEO Biishiki-gun and The Bakuretsu Sisters for the Tokyo Princess Tag Team Titles match next week on 13th July. The big story from the signing involved Sakisama & Misao calling Nodoka Tenma a pig causing Tenma to bite Sakisama in the arm! Sakisama fainted but was still able to wrestle later. When NEO Biishiki-gun defeated Yuki Aino & Mirai Maiumi, Tenma came out and bit Sakisama’s arm again!

For some reason Yuki Kamifuku, Himawari Unagi & Makoto Kiryu all wanted to wrestle with YUMI in their trios match.

Pom Harajuku’s shin kicking wasn’t enough to beat Mina Shirakawa. A Backfist and the Implant DDT gave Shirakawa the win.

The next TJPW trainee was introduced to the public. Izumi will have her debut match at the 25th August Korakuen Hall show. Her official ring name and match opponents will be announced at a later date.

Su Yung returns to Tokyo Joshi on 25th August. She will also be at the 1st September Osaka Edion Arena #2 show. She previously wrestled in Tokyo Joshi back in May 2018.

6. Yuka Sakazaki, Maki Ito & Mizuki defeated Miyu Yamashita, Marika Kobashi & Rika Tatsumi when Mizuki pinned Kobashi with the Cutie Special (14:47).

Rika Tatsumi had to get over her crush on Mizuki so she could wrestle her. The Ito Respect Army gave Marika Kobashi a Double DDT while Yuka Sakazaki wiped out Tatsumi & Miyu Yamashita with the Magical Girls Splash. Mizuki then pinned Kobashi with the Cutie Special. After the match Maki Ito told Kobashi to get stronger for the TOKYO Princess Tag Team Titles Match later this month because Ito doesn’t want to be in a boring match.

The poor referee assigned to the Maho Kurone Vs Su Yung match had his arms bitten by both at the same time. Yung hit Kurone with a rope assisted Pedigree and won with the Panic Switch. The two seemed to have patched up their differences after the match.

Yuki Kamifuku approached NEO Biishiki-gun after Match #4 asking to join the group. She thinks Saki-sama & Azusa Christie look so cool and stylish tgoether that she wants to be a part of it too. Christie was furious at the idea and thought Kamifuku was rude to ask them. Saki-sama however thought it was an interesting idea. Kamifuku isn’t at the level to join yet but she can be their apprentice for now. Kamifuku is happy with the decision. Christie is not.

Shoko Nakajima won her match with an Inverted Rings Of Saturn submission hold she calls the Unmanned Local Train Hold. It’s a Shin Godzilla reference according to the DDT English Update twitter account.

Hyper Misao told Nodoka-oneesan that she owns the patent on saying hello to the audience. Since Nodoka has been greeting the audience ever since her debut in January 2016, Misao worked out that Nodoka owes her 4,536,000 yen in overdue patent fees. However because they are friends, Nodoka only has to pay her 4,000,000 yen. When Yuki Kamifuku got in the way Misao and Nodoka worked together to get rid of her. Nodoka gave Kamifuku the Back Flip. Misao then snuck away with the win by pinning Kamifuku with the I Am A Hero. She was so happy with the win that she dropped the debt Nodoka supposedly owes her.

On 1st May Shota signed a full time contract with Ganbare☆Wrestling. To mark the occasion he challenged Keisuke Ishii for the Independent World Jr. Heavyweight Title. Shota was working with Guts World then went on an excursion to America after the company closed in April. Ohka had always wanted Shota to join Ganpro proper and approached him to make it happen when Shota no longer had a home promotion.

Yumehito Imanari has started the Imanari Revolution so he can be recognised as a main eventer. His campaign began successfully when he defeated Takeshi Okada in the main event of last month’s show. Now he faces Shuichiro Katsumura, the leader of Katsumura-gun and also the person who previously helped train him to fight Ganpro’s enemies. Imanari hopes that this match will be the main event.

*NEO Biishiki-gun fails in V 3. Muscle JK Strikers become the 3rd TOKYO Princess Tag Team Champions!
7. TOKYO Princess Of Princess Title: Miyu Yamashita (c) defeated Rika Tatsumi with the Crash Rabbit Heat (20:04).
*V4 for Miyu Yamashita.

So close yet still so far. For twenty minutes on a brand new ring canvas, Rika Tatsumi chased after the champion Miyu Yamashita and gave it everything she got. Tatsumi trapped Yamashita in the Dragon Sleeper and tried to choke her out again but this time Yamashita kicked her way out of it. Yamashita did a High Kick and an Attitude Adjustment for a nearfall. From that point on Yamashita hit Backspin Kicks and Buzzsaw Kicks to keep Tatsumi down until Tatsumi was too weak to block the Crash Rabbit Heat. A defeated Tatsumi was helped to the back by Maho Kurone while Yamashita celebrated another TOKYO Princess Title defence. Yamashita told everyone she had fun being taken to her limit by Tatsumi. But she still needs energy left over because the next Tokyo Joshi Pro show is only two days away in Itabashi. As long as Yamashita keeps standing in this ring and as long as there is support from everyone, Yamashita will go beyond her limits even more!

Vengeance is sweet for Marika Kobashi! After suffering so much humiliation from NEO Biishiki-gun, Kobashi finally won the TOKYO Princess Tag Team Titles from them with Reika Saiki. The intensive training Kobashi had with Saiki leading up to the match paid off. Saiki was at her strongest and at one point suplexed both Saki-saka & Azusa Christie at the same time. Saiki and Saki-sama took each other out with a Shining Wizard from Saiki followed in response with a Big Boot from Saki. Christie tried to hit the Christie Agape on Kobashi but it was blocked. Christie hit a Codebreaker but Kobashi toughened it out a stunned Christie with a Dropkick for the surprise three count! An angry Christie refused to accept the result but Saki-sama calmed her down. Everybody makes mistakes and surely there is something that Christie cherishes more than a championship belt. Christie said there is and it’s Saki-sama. They then left the ring for the new champions to celebrate. Kobashi said she has dreamed of this day for so long. Saiki told her it is now their goal to defend the titles as much as possible. The Ito Respect Army then came out to challenge them. They agreed to a match on the 19th May show in Kitazawa, two days after Kobashi’s birthday. Maki Ito promised to give her the gift of regretful tears when she and Mizuki become the new champions!

A special rule was added to the Falls Count Anywhere Match between Hyper Misao and Jun Kasai. Each wrestler needed to eat an entire bag of chocolate or else their pinfall attempts will not be counted. Misao came up with the idea and convinced Kasai that it counts as a death match. Kasai accepted the rule because he never turns down a death match! When the bell rang both Misao and Kasai rushed through their bag of chocolate until Kasai went in search of water to wash it down. He had to ask the audience for a drink because Misao secretly hid his bottle. When they started wrestling, Kasai put Misao in a Cobra Twist but Misao spat water at him to escape. Misao escaped and Kasai went searching for her. He went to the lobby and found a castle of chairs laid out in front of him. Hyper Misao surprised him by coming out on the Combat Bicycle and she sped towards him. Kasai moved out of the way and Misao crashed into the castle of chairs! Kasai went back to ringside but Misao caught up with him. She snuck up to one of the audience entrances and dove onto Kasai. They returned to the ring where Kasai took out a ladder. He tried to press it onto Misao’s head and shoulders but that backfired when Misao spun around to hit him with the ladder. Misao set a table at ringside but Kasai knocked her down onto it. Kasai then climbed the turnbuckles and splashed Misao through the table! Kasai rolled her back into the ring and went for the pin but the referee refused to count. Kasai never finished his bag of chocolate! He ate the last piece and went for the Reverse Tiger Driver but Misao fought out of it. Misao went for a Cross Body but Kasai caught her with a Lariat. He positioned her in the centre of the ring with a Vertical Drop Brainbuster and finally put her away with the Pearl Harbour Splash from the ladder. After the match Kasai told Misao he thought the chocolate rule was stupid and a horrible idea for a death match. But something is strange. The chocolate he ate during the match was the best he ever tasted. It made him feel alive! That is the magical power of the pro wrestling ring. Together they are pro wrestlers and Kasai now considers Misao a worthy rival.

Dead Of Alive didn’t last long as a team. At first they worked well together, surprising the Miraclians with an attack before the bell. Shoko Nakajima & Yuka Sakazaki fought back with their double team moves but Su Yung cut off their momentum by spitting red Poison Mist at Sakazaki. Maho Kurone went to give Nakajima the Ouroboros but it was blocked. Sakazaki regained her vision and hit the Magical Girl Splash on Kurone before sending Yung out of the ring with a Hurricanrana. Nakajima then got the win with the Diving Senton to Kurone. After the match Kurone and Yung butted heads before leaving in separate directions. Kurone then attacked Yung backstage. Yukinori Matsui tried to break it up but ended up having his arm bitten by Kurone.

All of the support from the fans wasn’t enough for Maki Ito to beat Riho. Ito was stretched and pulled apart by Riho’s moves but the rallying cries of “Who’s the cutest in the world? Ito-chan!” kept her fighting. She survived a Diving Double Stomp but was finally put down with the Somato. Ito was left in the ring with Mizuki to think about another defeat. Ito said she brought in Mizuki to start the Ito Respect Army but she doesn’t think Mizuki respects her. She only teams with her out of kindness. Well no more! Ito is going to disband the Ito Respect Army! Mizuki stopped her. She isn’t teaming her just out of kindness, she really wants to be with Ito. They hugged and agreed to keep the Ito Respect Army going. They got the crowd to call Ito cute again then Ito sang “Ultra Soul” while they left the ring.

Yuki Aino was feeling so emotional over her debut match that she was already wiping tears from her eyes after her entrance. Aino tagged with her older sister Nodoka-oneesan to take on Yuu and Up Up Girls member Hikari. Aino’s big spot in the match was giving Yuu a Side Suplex. However Yuu recovered and pinned Aino with the Ittenyon throw. Aino said the match felt like it came and went in a blink of an eye. She promises to work hard alongside her sister.

Yuna Manase doesn’t want to waste any time coming back from surgery. Her goal is to win the championship and she will do her best to achieve it.

Four new trainees were introduced to the audience at the beginning of the show. Haruna is only 143cm tall so she will be the shortest member of the roster when she debuts. Kyo comes from an open training class held by that DDT. Yumi is a 13 year old junior high school student who is 173cm tall. Kirino wants to be like Shawn Michaels.
