*V1 for Makoto Oishi.
5. Daisuke Sasaki & Tetsuya Endo defeated Soma Takao & Kouki Iwasaki when Endo pinned Iwasaki with the Torture Rack Bomb (8:09).
6. UTAN Festa 2016 Special 6-Man Tag Team Match: HARASHIMA, Yoshihiro Takayama & Akito defeated Konosuke Takeshita, Antonio Honda & Mike Bailey when HARASHIMA pinned Honda with the Somato (15:20).

Antonio Honda is still taking time out during his matches to talk about foxes. This time it was done to distract his opponents so Konosuke Takeshita & Mike Bailey could attack when their guards dropped. The three of them wound up to do a Triple Bionic Elbow to HARASHIMA but hey were all cut off. HARASHIMA then led his team through a train attack on Honda ending with the match winning Somato. HARASHIMA said DDT will continue doing the Utan shows in Tokyo JR Omori Station for another 10, 20 and 30 years!

Makoto Oishi was able to beat Seiya Morohashi when Morohashi missed a Diving Headbutt. That gave Oishi the opening to do the Miracle Ecstasy and also a Frog Splash. Oishi called out the Battle Royal winner Chikara to make next year’s World Omori Title match official.

A wrestler impersonation contest was held during the show. Some of the contestants imitated wrestlers like Keiji Muto and Kazuchika Okada. There was even a woman who imitated Jiro Kuroshio. Chinsuke Nakamura made an entrance wearing a home made NXT Title belt. Munenori Sawa then made a surprise appearance to do a Pro Wres LOVE pose. The judges Tomomitsu Matsunaga and Sanshiro Takagi picked Chinsuke and Sawa as the winners.

5. Omori World Title: Gurukun Mask defeated Danshoku Dino (c) with the Gurukun Driver (9:15)
*Danshoku Dino fails in V6. Gurukun becoms the 5th Omori World Champion!
6. Antonio Honda, Konosuke Takeshita & Tetsuya Endo defeated HARASHIMA, Yasu Urano & Akito when Honda submitted Akito with the Ocotopus Hold (20:51).

Antonio Honda got the better of Akito in the main event match between Happy Motel and Smile Squash. Honda submitted the DDT Extreme Champion with the Octopus Stretch. There is no doubt he wants to add that title to go with Happy Motel’s KO-D Tag Team Titles.

Danshoku Dino’s five year run as Omori World Champion has finally come to an end. Gurukun Mask won a Battle Royal at last year’s Omori Station event and had to wait a year to get his title shot. Late in the match Gurukun gained posession of Dino’s shorts and put them on to gain the ability to do Danshoku moves. That proved to be the difference maker as he gave Dino the Lip Lock followed by his own version of the Danshoku Driver to become the new champion. Makoto Oishi won a Battle Royal earlier in the show to become the No. 1 Contender. He appeared after the title match and was carried down to ringside by the trainee Kazusada Higuchi to taunt the new champion.

A wrestler impersonation contest was held during the show. Contestants dressed up and impersonated as their favourite wrestlers. 5. DDT Extreme Title: Akito (c) Vs Soma Takao
6. KO-D Tag Team Titles: Konosuke Takeshita & Tetsuya Endo (c) Vs KUDO & Masa Takanashi

The main event is protein shakes vs liquor. Konosuke Takeshita & Tetsuya Endo plan to drink protein shakes as a toast for their victory on Sunday. Masa Takanashi is pretty insulted that they would drink protein shakes instead of alcohol.

Akito has decided his DDT Extreme Title match against Soma Takao will just be a normal singles match. Akito still remembers when he lost to Takao in a King of DDT qualifying match back in May. He is still bitter over the defeat and wants to prove he can beat Takao without any crazy stipulation aiding him. He’ll start defending the Extreme Title the way it is supposed to be defended once he beats Takao. Also since DDT is currently being passed over to a new generation of wrestlers, Akito wants to make the Extreme Title as prestigious as the KO-D Openweight Title.

*V5 for Danshoku Dino.
6. Antonio Honda & Daisuke Sasaki defeated HARASHIMA & Yasu Urano when Honda pinned Urano with the Diving Fist Drop (17:26).

It was Title Vs Argentinian Pride over in Omori today. Danshoku Dino had his annual Omori World Title defence against the winner of last year’s Battle Royal, Hoshitango. Dino declared that a victory over his opponent would mean Argentina would become a gay country. Dino went on to beat Hoshitango. He then wondered if he could turn Omori into a gay town. Gurukun Mask came out to defend his town as the No. 1 Contender for the championship. Dino rendered him helpless with a Lip Lock, dropped him with the Danshoku Driver and then tried to undress him before he escaped.

Makoto Oishi was absent from the show for unknown reasons. He was replaced by the mysterious Ji Utan in the Battle Royal. Utan, who wrestled just like Oishi, made it all the way to the final two but fell to the hometown hero Gurukun Mask. The winner now has to wait a year until DDT returns to Tokyo JR Omori Station so he can challenge for the Omori World Title.

Keisuke Ishii and Shigehiro Irie wrestled in Omori just hours before they travelled to Sumo Hall for today’s All Japan show. Unfortunately for them, they failed to win the All Asia Tag Team Titles from Kotaro Suzuki & Atsushi Aoki.

A wrestling music quiz for the crowd took place during intermission. When “Grand Sword” played over the speakers there was a loud “Kobashi” chant.
