When Shota went on tour in Australia last year he wrestled for a promotion called Pro Wrestling Power in Cairns, Queensland. One of the locals who caught his attention goes by the name of E10. He is coming over to Japan later this month for a tryout in Ganbare☆Wrestling. E10 is 178cm tall, weighs 77kg and his signature moves are the Side Effect and the Frog Splash.

There’s another Australian heading over to Japan soon, this one for DDT. Melbourne high flyer Royce Chambers will be in DDT from 1st to 20th March. His acrobatic moves and matches from Melbourne Championship Wrestling have been getting attention online and impressed the likes of Konosuke Takeshita. DDT is bringing in Chambers on Takeshita’s recommendation. Chambers is 180cm tall, weighs 86kg and has only been wrestling for two years.

Yuni closes out the childhood portion of his wrestling life by facing his career rival Kazuki Hirata.

The list of victims on the path to Tetsuya Endo is growing. Yesterday Yukio Sakaguchi choked out Mad Paulie, today he knocked out Daisuke Sasaki. At first Sakaguchi was focused on getting Endo in the Sleeper Hold but Sasaki was there to break the hold with the Diving Elbow Drop. HARASHIMA gave Sasaki the Reverse Hurricanrana and Sakaguchi followed up with the God’s Right Knee to win the match. While DAMNATION carried Sasaki out of the ring by his arms and legs, Sakaguchi got on the microphone. He said there are two kinds of people in the world, the foolish people who get added to kill lists and the people who kill them one by one every day!

Kazuki Hirata had a three tier challenge to fight through today. He must take one three of Gunma’s mightiest warriors. His match begun with him facing off with a Daruma doll brought to the ring by Ricky Starks. Kazuki didn’t know how to wrestle it because it had no limbs to grab onto. He kicked it out of the ring. A Kokeshi doll was then brought down to the ring by Mike Rollins as the second warrior. Hirata tried to throw it out of the ring but the Kokeshi doll somehow countered it into a Hammerlock. The final warrior to enter was Yutaka Yoshie! However the Daruma and Kokeshi dolls turned on him! Hirata made Kokeshi Hammerlock Yoshie’s arm then he hit him from behind with the Daruma. The Hirata GO! glasses came out and the two danced until Yoshie knocked down Hirata with a Lariat. He hit a Body Press and placed the dolls on top of Hirata to pin him. Hirata thanked Yoshie for having his 25th Anniversary Match in DDT today. Yoshie cut him off and said this wasn’t his anniversary match. He’ll be planning that himself at some point this year.

Akito made Antonio Honda submit but he doesn’t think it gives him any advantage for their DDT Extreme Title match. Honda is the champion and gets to make the match rules so Akito just has to wait until he knows what it is. Honda swore he will create something that will give him the advantage and if you don’t buy a ticket to see it a Korakuen Hall on 25th May, you’ll end up crying later!

In the 3 Way match Starks had Rollins pinned with the Running Liger Bomb but Mike Bailey dropped on them with the Ultima Weapon to steal the win.

Naomi Yoshimura was supposed to be on the show but family circumstances are preventing him from coming this weekend. He will be back in the ring wrestling again on the 14th.

I missed this but on 2nd April DDT announced that Keisuke Okuda will resign from the company at the end of the month and become a freelancer. His contract with DDT was originally just a one year contract but it turned out to be the shortest contract in the company’s history. Okuda is grateful for the opportunities DDT gave to him when he left IGF last year and he’s been a fan of the company since he was in junior high but he wants to move his career in a different direction and go on a new adventure. Okuda wants his big match before he leaves to be against Yukio Sakaguchi.

“Absolute” Ricky Starks is from Louisiana, USA and has been wrestling since 2012. Mike Rollins is from Ontario, Canada and has been wrestling since 2007. Rollins is normally a mild person but during matches he can switch personalities and turn into a mad man named “Psycho” Mike.

The current Right To Challenge Gauntlet holders are Kazuki Hirata (blue) and Keisuke Ishii (yellow).
