KO-D Openweight Championship

KO-D Openweight Championship – KO-D無差別級王座

The KO-D Openweight Championship was created in 2000 to be the premier championship prize in DDT. The initials KO-D stand for King Of DDT. When it was first created, all title matches had no time limit established but DDT eventually changed the rule over to a more traditional 60 minute set. From 2009 onward DDT established an extra prize that eventually became known as the Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere rule. Once a year wrestlers can win a different colour Gauntlet the grants the holder a KO-D Title shot that can be used whenever they want as long as the champion is in the venue. Any title defences that were held because of an unscheduled Right To Challenge demand is labelled below as a Cash In match. Otherwise the usage of the rule was scheduled in advance and is treated as a regular title match.
