February 18, 2026

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “FINAL CURTAIN IN KOBE ART CENTER”, 21/02/2026
Kobe Art Center

1. 3 Way Match: Rika Tatsumi Vs Pom Harajuku Vs Mahiro Kiryu
2. Haru Kazashiro Vs Shion Kanzaki
3. Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara Vs Yuki Aino & Kira Summer
4. Shoko Nakajima & Chika Nanase Vs Yuki Arai & HIMAWARI
5. Aja Kong, Raku & Ren Konatsu Vs Hyper Misao, Mifu Ashida & Sara Phoenix
6. MIRAI & Toga Vs Suzume & Arisu Endo
7. Miu Watanabe & Shino Suzuki Vs Mizuki & Uta Takami

This will be the final time Tokyo Joshi Pro comes to Kobe Art Center. The venue will be going under changes and the planned finished layout is considered to be unsuitable for holding wrestling shows according to Tetsuya Koda. So in the future TJPW will be looking for another venue in Kobe to host Mizuki’s homecoming shows. Somehow I don’t expect the Ring Soul bar to be among the options.

The International Princess Title scene gathers together for an important preview match. The current champion MIRAI is hanging around for a while and is teaming with her previous challenger Toga. On the other team is MIRAI’s next challenger Suzume along with her Daisy Monkey partner and former champion Arisu Endo.

7. Shoko Nakajima, Yuki Aino & Haru Kazashiro Vs Mizuki, Arisu Endo & Uta Takami

Yuki Aino doesn’t have to worry about a potential relocation for her homecoming shows though. She and the rest of the ToJo Tokusatsu Club will be headlining the event. Maybe they’ll get an update on their Super Sentai goal for Sumo Hall along the way.

GANBARE☆PRO “A SCANNER DARKLY 2026”, 22/02/2026
Tokyo Takashimadaira Kumin Center

Over the weekend Ken Ohka won gold over at Total Triumph Team. He beat his one time nemesis Guts Ishijima to win the TTT Indie Unified Openweight Title. Also I didn’t find out about this until around the same time but Mizuki Watase won the KING Of FREEDOM World Tag Team Titles with Jun Kasai back on 23rd January.

1. 3 Way Match: Danshoku Dieno Vs Kazuki Hirata Vs Yuki Ishida
2. Junta Miyawaki Vs Yuni
3. STRANGE LOVE CONNECTION Vs FANTÔMES DRAMATIC!: MAO, KANON, Yukio Naya & X (w/ KIMIHIRO) Vs Chris Brookes, HARASHIMA, Antonio Honda & Hinata Kasai

While Yuki Iino is away training for his American Football career, the still unknown new member of Strange Love Connection will take his place.

Junta Miyawaki continues to get in the ring with new faces during his stay in DDT. Next up for him is Yuni in a first time ever match up.

DDT “NANIWA FIGHTERS 2026”, 08/03/2026
Osaka 176BOX

1. Naomi Yoshimura & Yuki Ishida Vs Kazuki Hirata & Akito
2. Special Tag Match: Sanshiro Takagi & Rukiya Vs Jun Akiyama & Yuni
3. Special Single Match: To-y Vs KANON

Since DDT is heading back to Osaka, that means Sanshiro Takagi & Rukiya get to reform their Toyonaka tag team. Due to injuries and other absences they haven’t been able to do this since 2024.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “GRAND PRINCESS ’26”, 29/03/2026
Tokyo Ryogoku Kokugikan

1. Special Tag Match: Yuka Sakazaki & KONOSUKE TAKESHITA Vs Hyper Misao & Super Sasadango Machine
2. International Princess Title: MIRAI (c) Vs Suzume
3. Princess Tag Team Titles: Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara (c) Vs Jessie McKay & Cassie Lee
4. Princess Of Princess Title: Miu Watanabe (c) Vs Yuki Arai

Well, Ober Eats said they wanted to face a tag team that are a big deal. They also said they want to have the best match on the show and er… yeah… it’s nice to want things. Anyway TJPW went and got The Iinspiration to be Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara’s next challengers for the Princess Tag Team Titles. The Australian pair of Jessie McKay & Cassie Lee were known as The Iiconics in WWE before going to TNA with the name change. They won the women’s tag team championships in both companies and just recently signed a deal with AEW so they match the requirements Ober Eats were looking for.

The mascot Minimo-chan spent Monday training with Mahiro Kiryu for its upcoming pro wrestling debut. Super Sasadango Machine gave Minimo-chan the task of learning a special move but Kiryu was sceptical over the mascot’s ability to wrestle. Minimo-chan proved her wrong by running the ropes, doing Wrist Locks and even performing a Side Thrust Kick to the ribs with ease. It then told Kiryu that with this kick it will win its debut match in Sumo Hall! An interview was held after training where Minimo-chan revealed it used to watch All Japan VHS tapes over and over until they all wore out. Its favorite wrestlers are Steve Williams, Doug Furnas and Dan Kroffat. Minimo-chan also aims to eventually fight for a championship!

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TJPW INSPIRATION”, 18/04/2026
TOKYO SQUARE In Itabashi

How curious. The next TJPW Inspiration show will feature Rika Tatsumi, Mahiro Kiryu, Arisu Endo, Haru Kazashiro, Mifu Ashida, Kira Summer, Chika Nanase, Ren Konatsu and Shion Kanzaki on the card along with three guest wrestlers. While this is going on Miyu Yamashita, Shoko Nakajima, Hyper Misao, Yuki Aino and Toga will be in Las Vegas for Wrestlemania Weekend. Yamashita and Toga already have match bookings but the other three are so far only advertised for a meet and greet at WrestleCon. The mystery continues.

UJPW Adds Sasaki And Satomura As Directors

February 18, 2026

A second United Japan Pro Wrestling update for the year already? They’re spoiling us.

Yesterday representatives from the UJPW met for a general meeting where two new directors were appointed. Takashi Sasaki from Pro Wrestling FREEDOMS and Meiko Satomura from Sendai Girls received unanimous approval to take on the roles after going through rigorous screening. Satomura’s appointment is notable because she has now become UJPW’s first female director since the federation was founded in 2023.

When the meeting was over everyone stayed around for a social gathering that included speeches from Ryo Saito, Hiroshi Tanahashi and Ryota Chikuzen. In the upcoming year UJPW will hold safety seminars for its members and may come up with something to better explain to wrestling fans what kind of activities the federation exists to deal with.

As of 17th February there are now twelve Regular Members and three Supporting Members in UJPW to make up fifteen members in total. They are as follows.

Regular Members: New Japan, All Japan, Big Japan, NOAH, DDT, Dragon Gate, Kyushu Pro, Stardom, Tokyo Joshi Pro, Ganbare☆Pro, FREEDOMS, Sendai Girls
