*Ocha becomes the 1,789th champion.

A crossing of idol worlds took place for Tokyo Joshi Pro’s final Korakuen Hall show for 2025. They collaborated with the group OCHA NORMA for a special one-off show mixing wrestling matches with an idol concert. For the matches, different members of OCHA NORMA would play a role whether it was as a ring announcer, a commentator or simply to cheer on the wrestlers from ringside.

The show did still push forward towards 4th January. The main event had Miu Watanabe and Suzume cross paths again. Watanabe gave Suzume & Mizuki a Double Body Slam followed by the Double Giant Swing. Yuki Arai cut her off from doing the Canadian Backbreaker and Suzume wore her down to the point where she could do a low hanging Ring-A-Bell. Yuki Aino & Toga worked together to double team Suzume but Mizuki came in to give Watanabe the Whirling Candy. Suzume then singled out Toga to hit the Ring-A-Bell and win the match for her team. After the match Suzume said she is happy to see so many people’s love come together here, whether it is for OCHA NORMA or for pro wrestling. She promoted the 4th January show along with her match with Watanabe for the Princess Of Princess Title. Watanabe told Suzume they will meet here in Korakuen on 4th January to clash over what they love.

Tea is a strong concept that follows everything OCHA NORMA does but not everyone in TJPW are into that sort of stuff. There’s a group of wrestlers who think coffee is the superior drink and will fight to prove it! Hyper Misao, Yuki Kamifuku & Kira Summer joined forces to become the Coffee Breakers and promised to paint Korakuen Hall pitch black! They entered to the music from a Japanese coffee commercial then attacked the other team with coffee mugs. Misao also spat coffee into Rika Tatsumi’s face like it was the Poison Mist. However Misao also pulled out a spray can and accidentally blinded Kamifuku when Tatsumi ducked the attack. Tatsumi then sprayed all of the Coffee Breakers. Mifu Ashida threw Misao away with a German Suplex, Miyu Yamashita hit Kamifuku with the Skull Kick and Tatsumi finished off Summer with the Missile Hip.

With Tatsumi victorious the path was now clear for her to achieve her dream. For months now she has been winning and defending the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title just so she can give it as a gift to Natsume Nakayama, her favorite member of OCHA NORMA. After the match Tatsumi invited Nakayama into the ring and laid on the canvas with her eyes closed so she could be pinned. However Mahiro Kiryu entered the ring and pinned Tatsumi to win the title instead! When Tatsumi realised what happened, she got mad and choked Kiryu unconscious. She then invited Nakayama to pin Kiryu but she declined. Tatsumi wouldn’t take no for an answer though and she made Nakayama sit on Kiryu to pin her and become the new champion. Tatsumi’s dream came true and she hopes everyone took lots of cute pictures of them together with the belt.

A special guest from Mexico was booked from the show to make up for Shoko Nakajima being absent due to what was only described as “various circumstances”. Taking her place was Ochanor Mask and she made an odd first impression by deciding to dance instead of shaking her opponents’ hands before the match began. Wakana Uehara & Ren Konatsu didn’t know what to make of the Ocha Libre wrestling style and then things got even more odd when Konatsu accidentally unmasked Ochanor, possibly unveiling that it was really Shoko Nakajima all along! Ochanor tried to keep her face hidden and was still able to pin Konatsu before putting the mask back on in the hopes that no one noticed. Kaya Toribami was happy to win with her new Mexican friend but being a masked wrestler herself, she understands how scary a moment like that can be.

Ryo Mizunami was just as confused as the OCHA NORMA fans in attendance when her match began with Raku & Pom Harajuku taking a nap in the ring, causing their opponents to do the same thing. She woke Raku up and got attacked by her by mistake so the match could go ahead. Mizunami’s team eventually got on the same page and she was able to pin Chika Nanase with the Spear to win.

With a Princess Tag Team Titles shot coming up around the corner, Haru Kazashiro unveiled an upgraded version of her Arm Stretch submission hold. She can now set it up like a Codebreaker and then keep it applied in a way that looks like the Sol Naciente that Masato Yoshino from Dragon Gate used to do. The move that Kazashiro used is now called the Izayoi, which refers to the 16th night of the month that takes place after a full moon… Oh wait, there’s also something here that says it’s a Tokustatsu reference so that’s probably where she got the name from. Anyway, even though Arisu Endo took care of HIMAWARI and left the match up to Uta Takami, Kazashiro turned the tables and used the Izayoi to make Takami give up.

Midway through the show there was a special challenge that pitted TJPW against OCHA NORMA. It was an all out Rock Paper Scissors battle between the two sides. Haru Kazashiro and Pom Harajuku lost their games but Shino Suzuki saved the day for the TJPW team, winning the final game that was worth three points so TJPW ended up beating OCHA NORMA 3-2.

There were three musical performances held throughout the show in between the matches. OCHA NORMA performed for the majority of them but The Up Up Girls (Pro Wrestling) took part in the opening segment. They played two of their own songs along with an OCHA NORMA cover that the actual OCHA NORMA then joined in for at the end.

Nakayama’s reign as the Iron Man champion ended not that long after the show had finished. She was approached by Mahiro Kiryu and Shino Suzuki backstage along with the referee Fumirin. Kiryu convinced Nakayama to give up the championship because Nakayama herself does not want to worry about defending the title. However when she declared she was giving up the title, Fumirin noticed she was holding a bottle of ocha tea next to the belt. Fumirin then decided that Nakayama had given up to the ocha tea which means Ocha is now the champion, not Kiryu!

Dieno Still Out Of Action, The Great Baka Mecha Wars, Title Matches In Bangkok

Ban-etsu East Line Train

There will be a train ride leaving Koriyama Station to the destination Iwaki Station where several street pro wrestling matches will be held. The matches will be announced on the day of the show.

The wrestlers taking part include Yuki Ueno, To-y, MAO, KANON, HARASHIMA, Kazusada Higuchi (replacing Danshoku Dieno who hasn’t been cleared to wrestle), Chris Brookes, Kazuki Hirata, Yukio Naya, Takeshi Masada, Yuya Koroku and Kazuma Sumi. Several of them will be on the train ride too.

Osaka Azalea Taisho Hall

1. Toga Vs Chika Nanase
2. Arisu Endo Vs Shino Suzuki
3. Raku & Pom Harajuku Vs Uta Takami & Ren Konatsu

6. Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara Vs Kaya Toribami & Kira Summer
7. Miu Watanabe & Rika Tatsumi Vs Suzume & HIMAWARI

The Princess Of Princess Title match buildup is getting more serious with the big guns now starting to appear. Miu Watanabe & Rika Tatsumi are teaming up as Daydream again for the first time since July to give Suzume a big challenge ahead of the title match. Suzume isn’t teaming with Arisu Endo to reform Daisy Monkey though. Maybe that will happen down the line. Instead she is teaming with HIMAWARI.

Miyu Yamashita won’t be on the show because she is still on her European tour.

1. The Great Baka Mecha Wars Volume 2: Mecha MAO Vs Takagi Sanshirobo (w/ Mad Dr. Hige) Vs X
2. BK-G Openweight Title – Mascara Contra Mascara: Mr. Malo (c) Vs Mr. Bueno

It’s been a while since Mecha MAO and Takagi Sanshirobo fought their epic mecha battles in front of everyone. Now a third mecha is entering the fight. The X in the The Great Baka Mecha Wars has been greatly hinted to be something in the form of Minoru Suzuki. The possibility of it brings my memories back to Suzuki’s infamous match with Mecha Mummy at a MUSCLE show where a Gotch-Style Piledriver into a shallow lake caused a massive explosion that destroyed Mecha Mummy while leaving Suzuki with a significant piece of technology embedded in his eye. Imagine thinking we would ever get a follow up to that ending 16 years later?

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TJPW X OCHA NORMA – OCHA PRO☆KORAKUEN”, 07/12/2025
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. Arisu Endo & Uta Takami Vs HIMAWARI & Haru Kazashiro
2. Ryo Mizunami, Raku & Pom Harajuku Vs Mahiro Kiryu, Shino Suzuki & Chika Nanase

4. OCHA Pro Seikigun Vs Coffee Breakers: Miyu Yamashita, Rika Tatsumi & Mifu Ashida Vs Hyper Misao, Yuki Kamifuku & Kira Summer
5. Miu Watanabe, Yuki Aino & Toga Vs Mizuki, Suzume & Yuki Arai

The full card of the show’s wrestling portion has been decided. Miyu Yamashita, Rika Tatsumi & Mifu Ashida are joining forces as die hard fans of OCHA NORMA to defend the group’s honour against the Coffee Breakers of Hyper Misao, Yuki Kamifuku & Kira Summer.

The two masked women are being paired together as a tag team. Surely Kaya Toribami will find something in common with the newcomer Ochanor Mask.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TJPW LIVE IN BANGKOK”, 13/12/2025
The Circus Studio, G Village, Bangkok, Thailand

1. IWA Japan SETUP World Tag Team Titles: Miyu Yamashita & Kaya Toribami (c) Vs Raku & Pom Harajuku
2. MLW Women’s World Featherweight Title: Shoko Nakajima (c) Vs Alexis Lee
3. Princess Of Princess Title: Miu Watanabe (c) Vs Matcha

Two more title matches are added to the Thailand show, one of which clears up a piece of reporting from Fightful’s paywall that ended up being unintentionally sloppy. Their Patreon page reported that MLW are expecting Shoko Nakajima to defend the MLW Women’s World Featherweight Title in Asia again in the next coming months. The problem is they reported this just days after she had a title defence in Japan for Tokyo Joshi Pro and they clearly had no idea that had happened, so it came off as both a late slip as well as “No shit, Sherlock.” Now we see that the title defence being talked about is this match against Alexis Lee that is happening at TJPW’s Thailand show but again, Fightful’s never gave any detail like that so their reporting still comes off like nobody over there pays attention to the product (and continues my gripes over MLW news often being just glorified press releases). Considering part of their audience for a time thought Marigold closed down because they hadn’t heard anything about the company from the site since its first Sumo Hall event shows how bad their general Japan coverage is. Even their recent report that many of New Japan’s deals with their wrestlers no longer default to January every year is old news to the die hard fans.

The new IWA Japan SETUP World Tag Team Champions will hold their first defence of the titles in Thailand. Yamashita & Toribami’s opponents are two wrestlers who have held championships in SETUP before and even fought over it in TJPW. Do Raku & Pom Harajuku have it in them to win more gold in Southeast Asia?

There will also be a small scale SETUP show taking place the same afternoon before this show although I don’t know if anyone from TJPW will be on it.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TJPW X OCHA NORMA – OCHA PRO☆KORAKUEN”, 07/12/2025
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. Ochanor Mask Vs X

Some more details about how the show will work out has been revealed. The event consists of two 25 minute long live performances from OCHA NORMA as well as five wrestling matches from Tokyo Joshi Pro. There will also be a performance from The Up Up Girls (Pro Wrestling) where they will cover an OCHA NORMA song. Some of the idols will be doing either commentary or ring announcing for the matches.

Not everyone will be welcoming OCHA NORMA in with open arms though. The group is often associated with tea but there are wrestlers in TJPW who much prefer to drink coffee instead. They are Yuki Kamifuku and Hyper Misao and they will be showing up to the event as the Coffee Breakers!

Watanabe accepted the challenge so she can make the championship even more illustrious.

7. KO-D Openweight Title & DDT Universal Title: Yuki Ueno (c/c) Vs Super Sasadango Machine

The full card for this month’s Korakuen Hall show includes the tag team F-SWAG making their first appearance in DDT together. Jun Masaoka & Gaia Hox have been the unit’s tag team over in NOAH here and there this year. Not sure if this means Yuya Susumu will be showing up as well since it would be a little odd of he’s the odd man out.

We also have the match for Danshoku Dieno’s return from his health problems. That last time we saw him in the ring he claimed to have all of the toxic juices removed from his body so is he still carrying that same “beautiful” attitude he was saving for Daisuke Sasaki before that match got called off?

1. Ochanor Mask Vs X

One person who unfortunately won’t be at next month’s TJPW collaboration with OCHA NORMA is Shoko Nakajima. “Unforeseen circumstances” have made her unable to attend the show. In her place TJPW have booked a masked wrestler from Mexico named Ochanor Mask to make her Japanese debut. There are claims that she is the master of the “Ocha Libre” wrestling style. Fans are wondering if she happens to know the Teotleco and Osita, the two luchadoras who recently appeared in Stardom all of a sudden as Dos Locas de Mexico.

8. Princess Tag Team Titles: Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara (c) defeated Yuna Manase & Toga when Uehara pinned Toga with the Sushi Tornado (14:51).
*V1 for Ober Eats.
9. Princess Of Princess Title: Miu Watanabe (c) defeated Yuki Aino with the Spinning Tear Drop (17:49).
*V1 for Miu Watanabe.

When Miu Watanabe was crowned the princess of the Summer (the new intro to her song is there to remind you if you forgot), Yuki Aino wanted to prove she can become the princess of the Autumn. Today was her chance to keep her fire burning with a Princess Of Princess Title challenge that pitted power against power. Aino used Shoulder Tackles as well as a Reverse Splash from the ring apron to the outside. Watanabe drove Aino back first into the corner post and went on to work that area with Backbreakers. Aino powered through it to use Side Suplexes including one from the top rope but went back to the Shoulder Tackles one time too many. Watanabe gradually won out that battle and used her new Spinning Tear Drop variation to win the match.

Watanabe said she is sore after her first title defence but it was fun to bump around the ring with Aino. She calls Aino a precious and important member of their generation and she was happy to fight her for the championship. Watanabe then told the fans Tokyo Joshi Pro has more Korakuen Hall shows coming on the horizon and she wants to keep defending the Princess Title on the road to Sumo Hall next March. Her goal is to not just inspire the current TJPW fans but also those who have not seen her or experienced TJPW yet. The next Princess Title defence will be against American wrestler J-Rod on 9th October. She doesn’t know much about her other than she looks really muscular.

There was one time when Yuki Kamifuku and Yuna Manase were tag partners who had challenged for the Princess Tag Team Titles together. Today they found themselves in a similar position but this time Kamifuku was a champion defending against Manase. While that was going on their tag partners were pairing off against each other too. Wakana Uehara and Toga blocked each other from using their finishers until Uehara locked on the Banana Pillow. Manase broke it up but was immediately hit with the Diving Famouser from Kamifuku. Toga fought against Ober Eats by herself and was even able to give Kamifuku the Rock Bottom, but Uehara grabbed her in the Sushi Tornado to successfully defend the titles. After the match Hot Shot turned down handshakes from Ober Eats but it was just so they could hug them instead.

Uehara said backstage that this title run is her way of repaying Kamifuku for everything she’s done for her. Kamifuku said today’s win means she has surpassed Manase but she will still treat her and her mother to a Korean meal in Shin-Okubo. She also came up with a team name for their next opponents HIMAWARI & Shino Suzuki. She is calling them Plain Long Hair and she thinks they are completely out of her league. Over on the other end Toga talked about how close Manase and Kamifuku are, close enough to be like sisters. The match they had wants her to challenge for the Princess Tag Titles again and she would like to continue the Hot Shot team in both TJPW and maybe even Ganbare☆Pro. Manase thinks GanPro would be happy to welcome her as a guest. They’ll teach her the way to guarantee victory is to never give up until you win.

Arisu Endo better be careful because she’s starting to trespass into Shoko Nakajima’s territory with her insistence that she is bigger than she looks. Endo wanted to shake Alice Crowley’s hand before their match and was kicked away so her response was to call herself big in front of her bigger challenger. At first that seemed like a mistake because Crowley slammed Endo around and Power Bombed her into the corner. But despite the beating Endo took from repeated Lariats, she ducked under one and stunned Crowley with two Super Kicks before picking her up for the Ju no Okite to win the match. Backstage Endo said the result means she is bigger than “Big Al” but she’s now formed a bond with her two. She would like the two of them to team up on tomorrow’s show in Gunma because it will be Crowley’s last booking of this tour. Crowley admits that “Little Al”/”Big Endo” has a big spirit so if you can’t beat them, join them.

You just know that Hyper Misao had something planned for Yuki Arai in their first singles match together. Her idea was to have a ToJo-naire Quiz! Every time a wrestler scored a two count pin or a rope break they would have to answer a personal question about their opponent to win. The question was presented Who Wants To Be A Millionaire style including the lifelines. Arai was asked what prefecture is Misao’s home of Gotham City in? She said Chiba but was wrong (it’s Ibaraki). Misao was asked how long does Arai wake up before she leaves the house? She said 90 minutes but was wrong (it’s 120 minutes). Misao was also asked to identify lyrics of the SKE48 song “Pareo Wa Emerald” but she got that wrong. Misao remained in control of the match so was given the next question, what is Arai’s zodiac sign? She used her “Phone a Friend” Shoko Nakajima but Nakajima incorrectly answered Scorpio (she’s a Taurus). Arai got to be asked what does Misao always drink before her matches? She used her “Ask The Audience” lifeline and the poll incorrectly chose Yunker (it’s Red Bull). Arai then got asked what Misao’s favorite sushi dish is? Arai admitted she has never gotten to eat with Misao before so she randomly guessed Ikura (salmon roe). She was correct and declared the winner! Arai was happy with the result but her “Phone A Friend” Miyu Yamashita was annoyed she was never called to help. Backstage Misao talked about how lucky Arai is. The other day there was a romance novel that everyone was waiting to order because of a lottery yet Arai told everyone she was able to just go on the website and order it immediately. If Misao knew beforehand that is how lucky Arai is, she would have come up with different rules for the match!

Part of the undercard included a three match series called the LEVEL UP TRIAL that is designed to give TJPW’s younger wrestlers some major experience boosts on the road to “GRAND PRINCESS ’26” next March. Haru Kazashiro was put together with Mizuki, who was wearing a new black costume. She was also slightly more aggressive than usual which got her a warning from Yukinori Matsui. While Kazashiro got some moments to try and win, Mizuki beat her clean with the Cutie Special. Mizuki said she was happy with the match and how Kazashiro put out everything she had against her. Kazashiro is starting to feel like she is lagging behind the other wrestlers from her generation. She wants to get stronger in her own way so that one day she can win a championship.

Nakajima was chosen to be Uta Takami’s opponent in the LEVEL UP TRIAL. Nakajima kept Takami held in Wrist Locks and purposely wrestled her with one hand behind her back for part of the match. She then put Takami in the Paradise Lock and tried to stomp on her as she rolled away. Takami was able to use that predicament to cradle Nakajima for a nearfall but Nakajima got back in control by pulling her stomach first into the turnbuckle’s steel filling. Takami then tried using the Koala Clutch and some cradles to win but instead Nakajima blocked her and kept her pinned down with a European Clutch. Nakajima said Takami’s strength comes from her unpredictability but she still has a long way to go. Takami said she felt refreshed after the match when usually she is disappointed when she loses. She thinks Nakajima used this match to bring out a side of Takami that even Takami didn’t know existed. It has her more motivated to go win the Next Generation Tournament now.

The LEVEL UP TRIAL was a clean sweep for the veterans over the young generation. Shino Suzuki tried to go blow for blow against Miyu Yamashita and fought to keep her in a Sleeper Hold but it was inevitable that she would fall to the Skull Kick. Yamashita said she always finds Suzuki entertaining and has noticed how serious she looks whenever she wrestles. But the lesson to be learned is even when you try your hardest, things do not always work out the way you want them to. But Yamashita thinks Suzuki has the same guts and spirit that she has along with an incredible desire to win. If she can keep that up then Yamashita believes Suzuki will get stronger and even become a dangerous. Suzuki said she will make the most of what she learned today because she will be challenging for the Princess Tag Titles soon. Then next time she faces Yamashita she will definitely beat her!

One day before Mahiro Kiryu can gloriously return home to Gunma as the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Champion, she had to defend it in a 5 Way match first. Pom Harajuku showed up wearing a full turnbuckle pad over her back and she sat in the corner to disguise herself as a ring post. Not only was it a convincing camouflage, it also meant Harajuku couldn’t be pinned because the turnbuckle pad kept her shoulders off the canvas! Suzume and Kaya Toribami provided the actual wrestling portion of the match going back and forth with each other until Raku found a way to try and pin both at the same time. She then used the same tactic to somehow give all four opponents a Russian Leg Sweep chain at the same time. The ring emptied out to where it was only Kiryu and Harajuku were left. Harajuku took off her turnbuckle pad and tripped Kiryu with it but then tripped over it herself. Kiryu took advantage and jumped on top of her with an Apology style pin to win the match and escape with the belt. Once she was safe and sound, Kiryu knew she can now go home to Gunma tomorrow with peace of mind.

It won’t be until tomorrow when Kira Summer and Chika Nanase face off in a vital Next Generation Tournament match so today they were tag partners instead. Their team up was a successful one as they went on to beat Mifu Ashida & Ren Konatsu. The two shook hands in preparation for tomorrow’s match and left the ring side by side together.

It was announced that TJPW will be holding an extra show at Korakuen Hall on 7th December. The event is a special collaboration with the idol group OCHA NORMA. Many wrestlers in the TJPW locker room are fans of the group while several idols have appeared as special guest commentators at TJPW Korakuen broadcasts in the past. The news also comes out after OCHA NORMA held their first concert at Budokan Hall earlier this week.
