6. Union MAX Title: Ryota Nakatsu (c) defeated Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi with the V Slider (15:42).
*V4 for Ryota Nakatsu.
The big move Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi kept trying to use in the Union MAX Title bout was the Perfect Plex. It took him several attempts to pull it off against Ryota Nakatsu but when it finally hit it wasn’t enough to pin the champion. Nakatsu brought in a counter attack that took Hiroshi’s energy away. But rather than finish him immediately, Nakatsu gave Hiroshi one last chance to fight back. Hiroshi hit him with a Knuckle Punch but had nothing left to give so Nakatsu gave him the V Slider and pinned him for three. Nakatsu praised Hiroshi for his passion and leaving his feelings all out in the ring. When he started to talk about his next title defence, Ken Ohka entered the ring chanting the number “4642” over and over. Ohka told Nakatsu that number is how many days its been since he left Union Pro Wrestling back on 13th February, 2013! Not a day has gone by without Ohka remembering Union Pro and the only thing left around that represents it is the Union MAX Title. As a Union original that belt has Ohka’s name on it which means he deserves to have it! Nakatsu accepted his challenge for 18th November.
The Iron Fist Tag Team Titles remain with MJ2 after Kengo Mashimo & Ayumu Honda defeated Aijin Tag. Mashimo and Masato Kamino took each other out so the finish came down to Honda against Takato Nakano. Honda countered a roll up into an Arm Bar and increased the pressure by clutching onto Nakano’s leg. Nakano wouldn’t give up but the referee had to stop the match in MJ2’s favour. After the match Kyu Mogami spoke on behalf of his stablemates and said the next Iron Fist Tag Titles defence will happen at a 2AW show in Yokohama Radiant Hall on 15th November. Daiki Shimomura & Lil’ Kraken ended up confronting MJ2 backstage later to challenge them at that show.
Gouma Ryu will be taking a break from wrestling for a few months to focus on other priorities in his career. Today was his last match in BASARA for the time being until he returns.

10. KO-D Openweight Title & DDT Universal Title: Yuki Ueno (K/c) Vs Minoru Suzuki (U/c)
There was a press conference held in Tokyo today where wrestlers from the three title matches all gave comments and interacted with their opponents. Minoru Suzuki told reporters that he feels like he is finally reaching the pinnacle of DDT and wants to enjoy the experience because it feels like a new beginning for him. Yuki Ueno said the strongest wrestlers in the world are those who live their lives the way they want and Suzuki does that the most. Ueno wants to live freely like he does and believes taking the DDT Universal Title from him while also protecting the KO-D Openweight Title will help him move towards his goal. But after their interviews were over, the two had a staredown and Suzuki attacked Ueno with a chair! He targeted Ueno’s leg and grabbed the limb in a Heel Hold until the two were pulled apart from each other.
A scheduling conflict meant Team 200kg could not attend the press conference but they sent a message to be read out to the other wrestlers in the KO-D Tag Team Titles 3 Way Match. Chihiro Hashimoto wants Yuki Iino to remember all of the times she Suplexed him around the ring while Yuu warns Yukio Naya that she will come flying out of the sky and flatten him! Iino lost his temper and wanted to go searching for Hashimoto until the others all calmed him down. KANON said he and MAO haven’t won the tag titles together yet so he wants to get the belts and raise the status of Strange Love Connection. MAO also talked about how much KANON has grown ever since he was kicked out of DAMNATION T.A. MAO also wants the match to be so intense it will destroy the ring and make things difficult for everyone wrestling after them. He isn’t trying to destroy Sumo Hall itself though, just cause enough mayhem to beat The Apex and Team 200kg.
During his DDT Extreme Title reign To-y has been establishing himself as a gambler so he wanted to gamble the right to choose the match stipulation with his four opponents. They all played a game of Chinchiro and Super Sasadango Machine ended up being the winner. He decided to pick a stipulation that will remove everyone’s eyesight so the 5 Way will now be a Blindfold Death Match! He explained how important eyesight is for wrestlers and how if you take that away, all of their training will go to waste. Sasadango however never trains so wrestling blind isn’t going to make a difference to him as far as he’s concerned. Everyone else though will be dragged down to his level. Akito said the match will prove who truly deserves the Extreme Title the most. Kazuki Hirata doesn’t mind because he still gets to bully To-y and possibly be rewarded for it. Antonio Honda is excited because he has the most experience out of all of them when it comes to wrestling blindfolded and has the advantage of being a pioneer with the gimmick. To-y believes even when blind he sees everything with his heart so he is going to show the old timers what a modern Extreme Champion is like!
So it turns out Danshoku Dieno isn’t ready yet to return to the ring. After he got surgery for acute appendicitis, he ended up developing an intra-abdominal abscess that will take some time for him to recover from. His match with Daisuke Sasaki has been cancelled and DDT went to find a new opponent for Sasaki. They went with AMAKUSA from NOAH, which is a fitting decision because he and Sasaki were each other’s opponents in their debut match just a little over 20 years ago! The wrestler once known as Yuki Sato went through a couple of reinventions over the years before becoming the Jr. Heavyweight missionary you see in NOAH today. He has no memory of his time spent with Sasaki back in SUPER CREW so it will be like they are facing each other for the very first time all over again.

*V8 for Mr. Malo.
Some of the tricks and treats you get for Halloween don’t always turn the way you want them to. Baka Gaijin + Friends brought in a former champion to challenge Mr. Malo for the BK-G Openweight Title. That former champion is Kazuki Hirata and any high hopes for him to dethrone the champion immediately fell apart. Malo easily distracted him, gave him a Low Blow and rolled him up with a School Boy to win in seconds. MAO then confronted Hirata after the match and complained to him in a manner like Hisaya Imabayashi, causing the match to be restarted. Malo distracted Hirata again, gave him another Low Blow and pinned him with another School Boy. Takayuki Ueki (who worked the show as the ring announcer and was dressed as Reze from Chainsaw Man) then did the complaining and the match restarted again. Same thing still happened. Mr. HAKU couldn’t help but shout from the camera spot and complain to Hirata for losing like this. Another restart happened but the same thing happened once more. Now Chie Koishikawa joined in the complaining and got another restart. Malo didn’t even need to distract Hirata this time, he just did a Low Blow and pinned him. Chris Brookes stormed out to yell at Hirata in both English and Japanese before granting one more restart. The same thing still happened but this time Brookes broke the pin and everyone ganged up on Malo. Hirata blew his spot though and Malo went back on the attack, going as far as to destroy the Hirata GO glasses. Suddenly Mr. Bueno appeared to cheer on Hirata and motivate him into making a comeback. He then pulled out an extra pair of Hirata GO glasses and placed them on Hirata to make him power up with his dance. His second wind was cut off when Malo handed him a small jack-o’-lantern filled with firecrackers, filling the room with sparks and small explosions coming from Hirata’s hands. Malo then rolled him up with a School Boy once more to win yet again.
More surprises were in store when an unadvertised Halloween Rumble took place after intermission. Munetatsu Nakamura set the stage for how weird it was going to get by entering the match dressed as a Labubu. Entrant #2 turned out to be Thai wrestler Jonathan Johnson acting like The Joker. MAO was the next entrant dressed as a large square wall. He gleefully stood in the way of the fans to block their view while being impervious to his opponents’ attacks. Kota Ibushikoshi entered dressed as a schoolgirl but MAO escaped from his own costume to pin him with a Running Knee Strike for the first elimination. Next entrant was Chie Koishikawa in a shark costume running around biting everyone. Sayaka dressed as Haku from Spirited Away calmed her down by offering her a rice ball. Koishikawa ate it and felt full enough to take a nap. Everyone else pushed MAO on top of her and then piled on for the pin. Things took a turn when Ram Kaichow ran into the room dressed as Chucky and stabbed Sayaka with a machete! That was enough for a three count and Sayaka was out. The final entrant then appeared. It was Antonio Honda as Pero Pero Oyakata, his tribute gimmick to Hulk Hogan. He ripped off his vest but felt so cold in the room that he wanted to quit. But first he wanted to tell a Gongitsune story and then poked everyone in their eyes. MAO tipped over and fell so he was easily pinned. Oyakata then used the Pero Pero Driver (set up like the Pedigree but he swivels his hips to snap his opponent’s neck) to eliminate Johnson and Nakamura. The match slowed down when he tried to use the move on Kaichow. She escaped and with an upward swing, struck Oyakata between the legs with her machete. That put him down for the count and Kaichow won the Rumble.
Mr. Bueno decided to wrestle his match wearing an inflated sumo wrestler costume for his match against Kota Sekifuda. He also decided his sumo name is Takatoriki Jr. (Takatoriki being Yukio Naya’s father). The two briefly fought their way out of the room. Bueno returned first and expected to win by countout but Sekifuda returned wearing his own inflated sumo costume! They wrestled sumo style until Bueno tried to climb onto the bar counter for a high flying attack. Except when he was ready to do it, Sekifuda pulled out a living snake from his costume! He used the snake to scare Bueno back down to the floor so he could wrap the snake around his neck. Bueno escaped and physically forced Sekifuda to hand the snake away to Daisuke Kiso. Sekifuda climbed onto some stools to do his own dive but Bueno acted like he had a snake of his own hidden in his costume. Sekifuda didn’t fall for it but Bueno still blocked his dive and used an Inside Cradle to get the win.
In the opening match Brookes was dressed like one of the Baseball Furies from The Warriors. His opponent K4PY was dressed in a schoolgirl outfit, a decision that led to a few wardrobe malfunctions as the match progressed. Brookes found a fan dressed like one of The Brahman Brothers and got them to do the rubber band spot from across the room. Brookes ended up winning by giving K4PY the Praying Mantis Bomb, almost damaging something from the ceiling in the process.

1. KUBITO defeated Sentaro Motoshima with the Crossface Lock (16:04).
2. Hayato Mashita & Tyson Maeguchi defeated Shingo & Shingo Aihara when Maeguchi pinned Aihara with the Ago Shitsurei Itashimasu (14:59).
3. NAOMI Presents: TAMURA☆GENE☆ (E2, P0, K2) defeated Cherry (E2, P0, K0) with a 15-Count Win (8:13).
4. Double Main Event I – FUMA 15th Anniversary Celebration Match: Super Tiger defeated FUMA with the Gayama (14:23).
5. Double Main Event II – MOGMARINE Presents Kotaro Nasu 15th Anniversary Celebration Match: Daichi Hashimoto defeated Kotaro Nasu with the Rising DDT (21:06).
Both Kotaro Nasu and FUMA are celebrating 15 years in pro wrestling this year so the two of them decided to work together for an anniversary show celebrating their respective careers. They tried their best to gather “classmates” from their generation alongside the seniors who looked after them to fill up the card. It led to a double main event where FUMA lost to Super Tiger while Nasu was pinned by Daichi Hashimoto.
The TAMURA☆GENE☆ versus Cherry match was held under HEAT-UP Senior rules given the age of the wrestlers involved. The first wrestler to score a 15-Count Pinfall wins the match but they could also lose the match by either using a rope break three times. Punching and kicking was also prohibited under punishment of getting a butt slap every time. If a wrestler broke that rule three times they would be disqualified.

5. Special Single Match: MAO (w/ KIMIHIRO) defeated Yuki Iino with a Gedo Clutch Bridge (12:38).
6. The 37KAMIINA Vs Harimao!: Yuki Ueno & To-y defeated Kazusada Higuchi & Yuki Ishida when Ueno pinned Ishida with the Jul.2 (19:19).
While Yuki Ueno is building up his own momentum for Sumo Hall, he took time after the main event to praise Yuki Ishida for the boost of energy in his performances since the most recent Korakuen Hall show. To-y said after a hard weekend it’s only The 37KAMIINA who are left standing. He told the audience if they are ever going through difficulty, they should tilt their head to the side and then scream. After that you’ll instantly feel refreshed and won’t care about anything!
The KO-D Tag Team Titles preview continued with the other halves of The Apex and Strange Love Connection facing each other one on one. MAO now considers himself as a heavyweight wrestler so Yuki Iino was happy to welcome him in with heavy strikes to his opponent. KIMIHIRO distracted Iino by stealing his catchphrase so Iino knocked him off the apron with a Chop to the chest. MAO rolled Iino over using a Gedo Clutch but then bridged himself backwards to pin Iino for the three count. After this weekend The Apex and SLC are 1-1 in singles matches. Both sides agreed that once Team 200kg will be added to the mix at Sumo Hall the title match truly will become the “ULTIMATE PARTY”.
Bunbun went missing during the show and it turned out there was a reason for that. Match #4 became a Bunbun Hunter x Hunter Match where three wrestlers in the room were each carrying a sack with something inside it. The wrestlers had to grab the sack containing Bunbun but if they grabbed the wrong one, they were eliminated from the match. Chris Brookes and Akito both picked wrong so it was left to Takeshi Masada and Kazuki Hirata to fight each other over the remaining sack. Masada gave Hirata his finisher before taking the sack off him, pulling out Bunbun to win. SCHADENFREUDE International apologised to Bunbun afterwards for leaving him behind.

6. The 37KAMIINA Vs SCHADENFREUDE International!: Yuki Ueno & To-y defeated Chris Brookes & Takeshi Masada when Ueno pinned Masada with the BME (22:02).
In the main event there was a connection between Yuki Ueno and Takeshi Masada over the DDT Universal Title. Masada just recently lost to the champion Minoru Suzuki while Ueno is Suzuki’s next challenger. Ueno told Masada after today’s bout that he is not going to use Masada’s defeat as motivation for his own match with Suzuki. But Ueno counts on Masada nonetheless and hopes Masada will count on him to beat Suzuki. Meanwhile To-y came out of the match feeling a bump on his forehead but he is taking it as a good sign for his upcoming DDT Extreme Title defence.
There are two matches happening today and tomorrow involving The Apex and Strange Love Connection to serve as previews for the KO-D Tag Team Titles 3 Way. Today’s match had Yukio Naya beat KANON by using The World’s Best Back Drop twice. Naya said after the win that he was finally able to break KANON after losing to him in their three previous singles matches against each other. It doesn’t matter how strong his opponents are, Naya said The Apex will defend their tag titles!
The Osaka venue DDT was in today is apparently within cycling distance of Naomi Yoshimura’s high school so he was thrilled to win his match here.
MAO and Kazuki Hirata ended up turning their match into an invisible Stand battle, as in Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure stands. Hirata’s stand was called Dancing Platinum while MAO’s was called Invisible Big Square. Since they were invisible, Yukinori Matsui had to wear special sunglasses in order to see the Stands in action while to the audience it looked like MAO and Hirata were trying to wrestle each other while staying several feet apart at all times. KIMIHIRO also had a stand of his own that caught Matsui’s hand during a pin count. Hirata attacked that stand with a weapon which also caused KIMIHIRO pain.
