1. Special Tag Match: To-y & Takeshi Masada defeated MBM & Ultima Sombra when To-y pinned MBM with the Kojima Impact (8:15).
2. Demus & Ilusion defeated Soma Takao & Yuya Koroku when Ilusion pinned Koroku with the Swanton Bomb (9:32).
3. Daisuke Sasaki, Hideki Okatani & MJ Paul defeated HARASHIMA, Naomi Yoshimura & Hinata Kasai when Okatani pinned Kasai with the Skewer Claymore (12:11).
4. Special Tag Match: Chris Brookes & Arisu Endo defeated Kazuki Hirata & Moeka Haruhi when Endo pinned Hirata with the Ju no Okite (14:27).
5. KANON (w/ KIMIHIRO), Kazusada Higuchi & Yuki Ishida defeated Yuki Iino, Yukio Naya & Daichi Sato when Higuchi pinned Sato with the Claw Slam (14:45).
6. Special 6-Man Tag Match: Yuki Ueno, Jun Akiyama & Antonio Honda defeated Gorgeous Matsuno, MAO & Toru Owashi when Akiyama submitted Matsuno with a Wrist Lock (0:29).
6a. Rematch: Gorgeous Matsuno, MAO & Toru Owashi defeated Yuki Ueno, Jun Akiyama & Antonio Honda when Matsuno pinned Honda with the Gorgeous Superstar Elbow (19:42).

The main event all of a sudden became even more important when Gorgeous Matsuno decided he would retire if he was to lose today because his body is pretty much at its limit. He challenged the “youngster” Jun Akiyama to give him everything he’s got in the match. Akiyama then applied a Wrist Lock and Matsuno quickly gave up to it. Everything then quickly moved on to Matsuno’s sudden retirement ceremony but the 10 bell salute continued into an 11th bell and would have continued when Matsuno’s partner Junko Tashiro got on the microphone to interrupt it. She told Matsuno he cannot give up under these circumstances and encouraged him to restart the main event with everyone agreeing to do so.

The rematch turned out much better for Matsuno as he got to win by giving Antonio Honda the 619 followed by the Gorgeous Superstar Elbow. Matsuno told everyone on the mic afterwards that he has thought about retirement almost every day for the last two or three years but as long as everyone will support him he will stay active for the rest of his life! The show ended with Matsuno and Tashiro performing a duet together although it was slightly delayed because Tashiro forgot to give her CD to the sound engineer.

A mixed tag match on the undercard included Arisu Endo and Moeka Haruhi taking part. Endo is from Aizuwakamatsu City in Fukushima while Haruhi’s sister lives in the region too. That is the same sister Haruhi donated her kidney to two years ago. She and her daughter presented Haruhi with a bouquet of flowers in the ring before the match. Endo got to take part in the SCHADENFREUDE International spots as well as do a Missile Dropkick jumping off of Chris Brookes’s shoulders (Brookes had to crouch down during it because Endo was up way too high for the move while he was standing). After everyone joined in for Kazuki Hirata’s dance, Endo lifted him up and landed the Ju no Okite on him for the victory.

1. Kazusada Higuchi, Yuki Iino & Yukio Naya defeated MJ Paul, Demus & Ilusion when Iino pinned Paul with the Spear (11:07).
2. Special Tag Match: MBM & Ultima Sombra defeated MAO (w/ KIMIHIRO) & Kazuma Sumi when MBM pinned Sumi with the Package Piledriver (9:15).
3. Akito 16th Anniversary Match: Rukiya & Hinata Kasai defeated Kazuki Hirata & Soma Takao when Rukiya submitted Hirata with a Crab Hold (7:42).
*Special Referee: Akito
4. Yuki Ishida & Daichi Sato defeated Takeshi Masada & Yuya Koroku when Ishida pinned Koroku with the Dosukoi Clutch (12:14).
5. O-40 Title: Daisuke Sasaki defeated Antonio Honda (c) with a Japanese Leg Roll Clutch Counter (12:36).
*Antonio Honda fails in V1. Daisuke Sasaki becomes the 8th O-40 Champion!
6. Special Single Match: Hideki Okatani defeated KANON (w/ KIMIHIRO) with a Gyaku-uchi (13:41).
7. Special Tag Match: Yuki Ueno, To-y & Chris Brookes defeated Super Sasadango Machine, Sanshiro Takagi & HARASHIMA when Ueno pinned Sasadango with a School Boy (17:37).

In the final warm up match before the next Korakuen Hall show, Yuki Ueno got one over on Super Sasadango Machine for the finish. Sasadango tried to put his own mask over Ueno’s face to blind him but Ueno blocked it. Instead, Ueno put the mask back on Sasadango backwards, Dropkicked him in the head and then pinned him with a School Boy. While Sanshiro Takagi and To-y argued after the match over gambling, Ueno spoke to Sasadango and asked why he decided to challenge him for the KO-D Openweight Title? Sasadango’s answer was he wants to beat Ueno, carry his beaten body to the merchandise venue like a knight carrying a rescued princess and then make a ton of money from taking photos with the fans. Ueno cut him off and asked what does Sasadango want to do if he becomes champion? Sasadango pointed out that a huge hole in the wrestling world will open up when Hiroshi Tanahashi retires on 24th January. Sasadango sees this as his opportunity to become the next ace of the entire pro wrestling industry!

Hideki Okatani is playing mind games on KANON ahead of their KO-D Tag Team Titles Match. At the contract signing during the show, Okatani told KANON that no matter where he goes he will always be an unwanted child. Even if MAO picked KANON up after he was kicked out of DAMNATION T.A, he is only going to be abandoned again. Daisuke Sasaki doesn’t want to bring him back into the group and is going to ruin his life even more when DAMNATION T.A take the KO-D Tag Titles away from Strange Love Connection. KANON told them he is having the most fun of his career right now because he now has friends he can rely on. MAO thinks the best way KANON can get revenge on DAMNATION T.A is to show off how much more lively he is without them. Later in the show, Okatani beat KANON in a grudge match thanks to Sasaki hitting KANON in the back with a chair. A brawl then broke out where DAMNATION T.A overwhelmed SLC and left all of them laying, KIMIHIRO included. Despite that, KANON is trying to play some mind games back by saying Sasaki actually does want him back even though Sasaki says otherwise.

Today is Sasaki’s 40th birthday and he got to celebrate it even more by winning the O-40 Title from Antonio Honda! The former champion decided to be gracious after the match by singing Happy Birthday but Sasaki didn’t want to hear it and walked off with the belt. Backstage Sasaki sent a message out to all of the best wrestlers over the age of 40 to come fight him for the belt. He wants the likes of Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, CM Punk and Brock Lesnar to all answer his challenge.

Akito decided to be a referee for a match celebrating the 16th Anniversary of his debut because it is something he has never done before. Both Kazuki Hirata & Soma Takao wanted Akito to call things in their favor because yesterday was Hirata’s birthday and Takao is celebrating three years of managing the Dropkick Bar. When Akito declined to help, they then tried to bribe him 3,000 yen. Akito accepted the deal and purposely counted fast for them while counting slow for Rukiya & Hinata Kasai. However he had a change of heart after Rukiya confronted him over his officiating and was convinced to change sides because Rukiya is worth more to him than 3,000 yen. Akito then instructed Rukiya how to correctly apply a Crab Hold and Rukiya used the move to successfully submit Hirata.

1. Shino Suzuki defeated Ren Konatsu with a Modified Cobra Clutch (7:07).
2. Suzume defeated Mifu Ashida with the Ring A Bell (8:01).
3. Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title: Rika Tatsumi, Raku & Pom Harajuku defeated Hyper Misao, Mahiro Kiryu (c) & Kaya Toribami when Tatsumi submitted Kiryu with the White Dragon Sleeper (9:46).
*Rika Tatsumi becomes the 1,786th champion.
4. Yuki Arai defeated Kira Summer with the Scorpion Death Lock (6:53).
5. Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara defeated Yuki Aino & Chika Nanase when Uehara pinned Nanase with the Sushi Tornado (11:23).
6. Mizuki & Toga defeated Arisu Endo & Haru Kazashiro when Mizuki pinned Kazashiro with the Cutie Special (12:55).
7. Shoko Nakajima & HIMAWARI defeated Miu Watanabe & Uta Takami when Nakajima pinned Takami with the Northern Lights Suplex (16:36).

Today was Uta Takami’s day in the spotlight with the show taking place in her home of region of Ishikawa. She put up a spirited fight in the main event, particularly with Shoko Nakajima near the end. However Nakajima kept breaking out of the Koala Clutch, hit Takami with some Rider Kicks and pinned her with the Northern Lights Suplex. Nakajima told everyone that she’s been wrestling twice as long as Takami but today’s match was so fun she is giving her a perfect score! While Takami was happy from seeing so many people turn out for her today, she admits she still has a long way to go. She promised that Tokyo Joshi Pro will grow even bigger so they can come back to Ishikawa again. Miu Watanabe also praised Takami in their backstage interview for having a strong desire to improve.

An Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title change happened on the show when Rika Tatsumi submitted Mahiro Kiryu in a 6-Woman Tag Match. It was a match where Tatsumi, Raku & Pom Harajuku all pretended to be crabs at the start because crabs are a local delicacy in Ishikawa. After Tatsumi won the title, Raku tried to obscure her vision with an eye mask and rolled her up for a nearfall. Tatsumi escaped and once she was safe she gave an interview to a backstage reporter. She didn’t plan to win the title back from Kiryu today but it just happened to go that way. In another coincidence, Ishikawa is where her favorite OCHA NORMA idol Natsume Nakayama is from so maybe this is fate playing out. Her goal to gift Nakayama the Iron Man Title at the “OCHA PRO☆KORAKUEN” show next month is back on track! However, Kiryu says she is going to get her championship back at Itabashi Green Hall tomorrow because it just so happens that she and Tatsumi have a singles match against each other scheduled there.

BASARA “BASARA 294 ~UTAGE AKA – HIEN~”, 11/12/2025
Shin-Kiba 1st RING

1. BJW Jr. Heavyweight Title: Kosuke Sato (c) Vs Takato Nakano
2. Union MAX Title: Ryota Nakatsu (c) Vs Seiya Morohashi

Ohka caused some trouble over in BASARA by prematurely promising a Union MAX Title shot to a old colleague of his. Ohka couldn’t win the title from Ryota Nakatsu so now it is up to the champion to deliver on that promise. Since the promise revolved around Union Pro, Nakatsu decided he will first defend the title against another wrestler who used to cut his teeth in the now obsolete promotion, Seiya Morohashi.

The show will have another title match involving a connective past shared between the champion and challenger. Takato Nakano wants to face Kosuke Sato with the BJW Jr. Heavyweight Title on the line. The two of them used to train together in the Hamaguchi Gym and Takato believes they are equally skilled where they currently stand.

BASARA “BASARA 296 ~UTAGE~”, 28/12/2025
Shin-Kiba 1st RING

1. Union MAX Title: Ryota Nakatsu (c) Vs Shuji Ishikawa

The promise Ohka made was to give Shuji Ishikawa a Union MAX Title match. Ishikawa was Union’s ace for a good chunk of its decade long existence but he never held the Union MAX Title. It bothered Ohka that the championship was being used in BASARA instead of being held by a Union wrestler like himself or Ishikawa. So Nakatsu has taken on the promise to give Ishikawa a title match at BASARA’s last show of the year. If Morohashi wins the title first then he will be the one defending it against Ishikawa. It would be a bad look for BASARA for its big main event to turn into a Union Pro tribute match featuring only outsiders but it is a risk that Nakatsu is willing to take if it can help the company’s business.

Not everyone will be welcoming OCHA NORMA in with open arms though. The group is often associated with tea but there are wrestlers in TJPW who much prefer to drink coffee instead. They are Yuki Kamifuku and Hyper Misao and they will be showing up to the event as the Coffee Breakers!

4. SANADA, DOUKI & SHO defeated Yuki Ueno, Akito & Kaisei Takechi by Referee Stoppage when DOUKI used the Italian Stretch No. 32 on Akito (16:08).

A few DDT wrestlers were given an invite to a dangerous event held in a New Japan ring. The House Of Torture are the latest act in the company who got to run a vanity show of their own, following in the footsteps of El Desperado and Taiji Ishimori. But while the previous shows were put together for the sake of having crazy ideas come to life, today’s event had a more evil (or should I say EVIL) motive. The House Of Torture had a list of wrestlers they wanted to purge for one reason or another and EVIL wanted to see Kaisei Takechi in particular be punished for his success.

SHO started things off by making fun of THE RAMPAGE and called everyone on Takechi’s team a bunch of country bumpkins. Akito then got under SHO’s skin by pointing out that SHO may be hiding his true feelings but he is taking everything in this match seriously. The proof is right there in how much he prepared his speech to introduce each wrestler on the team to the audience. Also you don’t get a physique with low body fat like that without some serious training.

The House ended up getting the last laugh with a destructive victory over the DDT team. SANADA broke a guitar over Yuki Ueno’s head while DOUKI used the Italian Stretch No. 32 on Akito, holding onto him with a tight grip. SHO added extra damage by hitting Akito over the head with a tray while he was stuck in the hold, leading the referee to stop the match for Akito’s safety and declare HOT the winners. The team then added extra insult to injury by attacked Takechi after the bell, holding him upside down with his legs split apart so SANADA could karate chop him in the crotch.

Backstage DOUKI said that just because Takechi is good looking, has a great body and can do super cool moves that doesn’t mean he is a match for HOT. All of his lame fans who support THE RAMPAGE shouldn’t underestimate pro wrestling! The same goes for anyone who thinks DDT and NJPW are on the same level. However Ueno noticed there was a giant glint in DOUKI’s eye while they were wrestling each other because the two of them used to train together in DDT’s old dojo ten years ago. With that being said there is only on wrestler in NJPW that makes Ueno’s heart flutter and that’s Hiromu Takahashi. If Ueno ever comes back to New Japan, he will be on the lookout for him. Meanwhile Takechi stepped forward under his own volition and told reporters he wants to have a match with Hiroshi Tanahashi somewhere before Tanahashi’s retirement takes place.

1. Kaya Toribami defeated Toga with the Sento Choryu (8:29).
2. Rika Tatsumi defeated Gabai Ji-chan with a Reverse Figure 4 Leg Lock (11:31).
3. Mizuki & Yuki Aino defeated Raku & HIMAWARI when Mizuki pinned Raku with the Cutie Special (14:59).
4. Shoko Nakajima & Miyu Yamashita Vs Yuu & Yuki Kamifuku ended in a Time Limit Draw (20:00).

You never forget where you came from. Yuu never forgot where she came from either. It’s been seven years since she graduated from Tokyo Joshi Pro and she hadn’t stepped foot back inside until today. She will be retiring from pro wrestling at the end of the year but before that can happen she just had to come by for one last appearance. For the special match Yuu teamed with Yuki Kamifuku to take on Miyu Yamashita & Shoko Nakajima, two former rivals she has fought with over the Princess Of Princess Title in the past. Yamashita relished the chance to kick her again while Yuu took the blows and threw her around just as hard. Nakajima and Kamifuku weren’t left out of the action either and all four of them were spent when the bell rang for a time limit draw.

After the match Kamifuku got on the microphone to welcome Yuu back to TJPW. She told Yuu how sad she was when Yuu left the promotion but Kamifuku used that as motivation to work harder. Now she is a champion leading the younger generation. She joked that Yuu couldn’t imagine this matchup ending in a draw knowing how often Kamifuku lost her matches back then. She has improved so much that she wants her three seniors to start praising her. As soon as this match was announced, Yamashita was reminded of all the times she and Yuu exchanged blows like crazy. Today was just like that and even though Yamashita’s chest was left red, it felt so good. The red marks will go away but the Chops Yuu gave her will always be in her heart. Nakajima pointed out that she is the same age as Yuu and they share the same birthday. However when it comes to wrestling Nakajima is a little bit older so it makes her sad to see Yuu is retiring before her.

Yuu promised she wasn’t going to cry until she retires but she couldn’t help doing it today because she’s never going to fight with these wrestlers again. She was the first woman to graduate from TJPW but continue wrestling elsewhere. While she didn’t always see eye to eye with Tetsuya Koda, she wanted to take this chance to thank him along with everyone else in the company for giving her a warm send off at the time. She loves pro wrestling and is truly grateful that she’ll be able to retire while still loving it. From next year onwards she will support TJPW as a fan.

When Match #3 began Raku immediately asked Yuki Aino for a hug and offered her an eye mask so they could take a nap in the ring together. Mizuki told Aino not to take the offer but Aino couldn’t resist. Raku quickly rolled her up for a nearfall but Aino kicked out and briefly wrestled while still having the eye mask blocking her sight. She went on to handle HIMAWARI while Mizuki pinned Raku with the Cutie Special.

Rika Tatsumi tried to be polite to Gabai Ji-chan by holding down the bottom ring rope for him to enter the ring but he decided to trip her down with his walking cane. Then as they wrestled, Tatsumi strangled Ji-chan in the corner until he fainted. She got upset thinking he died but he was only playing possum to roll her up for a nearfall. He also did the Old School rope walk by using his cane for assitance. Tatsumi pulled the cane away, causing him to get crotched on the ropes. Ji-chan tried fighting back but his legs kept giving up on him whenever he attempted a Body Slam. He also injured his knee from giving Tatsumi (with her diamond hips) an Atomic Drop. Tatsumi worked the leg but that couldn’t stop Ji-chan from suddenly using Keiji Muto’s moveset from the Dragon Screw to the Shining Wizard to the Ribbreaker. He then went for the Moonsault, landing on his feet when Tatsumi moved out of the way and injuring his knee again. That ended up costing him the match because when he later tried to put on a Figure 4 Leg Lock, Tatsumi turned over to reverse it and he immediately tapped out from the pain.

Fresh off of winning the IWA Japan SETUP World Tag Team Titles with Yamashita last week, Kaya Toribami fought Toga in a singles match. She countered the Rock Bottom to roll Toga into position for an Enzuigiri and then once Toga was laid into position, Toribami pinned her with the Sento Choryu.

Chika Nanase worked the show as a ringside attendant but she also joined Rise Shirai for the show opening announcements.

4. Ryuichi Sekine & FUMA defeated Munetatsu Nakamura & Shota Kawakami when FUMA submitted Kawakami with an Arm Bar (10:58).
5. Union MAX Title: Ryota Nakatsu (c) defeated Ken Ohka with the V Slider (13:24).
*V5 for Ryota Nakatsu.

The main event was a battle between the BASARA boss and the Ganbare☆Pro boss over the future of the Union MAX Title. The challenger Ken Ohka felt he deserved to take the championship as one of the few remaining Union Pro wrestlers still around. However Ryota Nakatsu withstood the Spear Of Flame and turned it into the V Slider to defend the championship. After the match Nakatsu confronted Ohka over a rumour that he already offered title match to somebody on 28th December if he ha become the champion today. Ohka admitted he did and the person he made the offer to was the one wrestler you think of above anyone else when it comes to Union Pro, Shuji Ishikawa!

28th December is the only date Ishikawa has available for the rest of the year so Ohka decided they could do the title match on that day’s BASARA show. Nakatsu thought about it and pointed out that Seiya Morohashi is also still active. Ohka then admitted he was going to give him a title shot on the 27th December BASARA show. Nakatsu decided he will give Morohashi a MAX Title shot on 11th December and the champion coming out of it will then defend the belt against Ishikawa on the 28th. He is aware that this plan can backfire and turn BASARA’s final show of the year into a Union Pro memorial!

Three days ago Daiki Shimomura & Lil’ Kraken went over to 2AW and lost to MJ2 in a failed attempt to bring the Iron Fist Tag Team Titles back to BASARA. After his match today, Shimomura said he isn’t giving up chasing after the title and now wants Takumi Tsukamoto to help get the belts back. Tsukamoto made sure that Shimomura is motivated enough to do that before accepting to team up with him.

Takato Nakano threw out a challenge to Kosuke Sato for the BJW Jr. Heavyweight Title. The two have known each other through the Hamaguchi Gym ever since Nakano moved to Tokyo when he was 18 years old. He thinks Sato is the wrestler most like himself and also the person he would like to wrestle the most.

One month ago Mahiro Kiryu gave herself the challenge of defending the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title in a game of Mahjong against experienced players. However due to the short notice of the idea, the competition hardly showed up. So yesterday she tried out the idea again and had three opponents ready this time. The three opponents were planned to be Ken Ohka, Danshoku Dieno and Thanomsak Toba. All of them have experience in playing the game. However Toba didn’t show up because he woke up at 3am in the morning to work on his video editing gig, forgot about the game taking place and went to lunch instead. Suddenly Shinji Torigoe appeared. He is a professional mahjong player, the person who taught Kiryu how to play the game and one of the opponents who lost to her the last time. He wanted a second chance at winning the title and was accepted to replace Toba.

Through writing up the reports of this storyline, I have learned from those who are into the hobby that winning two games of mahjong in a row is a difficult thing to achieve. While she aimed to take the lead early, she found out that Ohka and Dieno are no slouches when it comes to playing the game. Kiryu then received a bad hand while Torigoe gradually increased his score until he took the lead and wouldn’t relinquish it. When it was all over, Torigoe was the winner and became the new Iron Man Champion! He then made a joke about how white Ohka’s tank top is which caused Ohka to lose in temper. In a rage, Ohka took off his vest and choked Torigoe unconscious before leaving the room in a fit! The ref Daisuke Kiso then noticed the vest was “pinning” Torigoe’s limp shoulders to the chair and counted to three, ruling that Ken Ohka’s White Tank Top was the new champion!

Kiryu acted quickly and grabbed the vest. With a mighty lift she Body Slammed it onto the floor and went for the cover to become the Iron Man Champion once more. She took a big risk today and almost paid the price. However she is having fun defending the title in games of mahjong and would like to continue doing it. She also noted how strong of a player Ohka is.
